Anyone else allergic to medroxyprogesterone? Otherwise provera?

I'm really sad, I took the medroxyprogesterone, aka provera, and it gave me a horrible rash and hives all over my body...I had a severe allergic reaction to it.

Does anyone know what the next step might be? I'm waiting to call my doctor since it's the weekend...but I'm really just concerned that there isn't any hope.

Obviously synthetic doesn't work for me, and I was on a real progesterone a few months ago that didn't work...feel like crying.
