Anyone else craving a dog??

I have 2 pointer pups under 2 yrs old and boy are they a handful. My mum always says how much easier i'm going to find having kids than raising those two. Good practice!! I wanted pointer number 3..Husband said no, lets have a baby.

I do feel like the dogs are my babies though, and as i'm not particularly maternal even though i want kids i worry i wont love my baby enough. Stupid i know, mum assures me i will

Haha, i'm currently going through the puppy broodies. I saw a perfect rescue dog online, but when we applied we were told it had to be homed with another dog. I was gutted, because it seemed perfect. Seems it's easier to buy a dog from someone from Gumtree than try to adopt!

Me and DH have a cat each, but they are mostly independent. They were both rescued and therefore aren't really lapcats. I usually only see them for food time, or if i'm sitting in the garden.

Lol, think I went a bit mad when I started thinking about babies then as I've now got 12 dogs and a litter of pups! Def not advisable to get one if it's just as you're broody but if you really want one anyway (and your lives are totally suited to one, having both dogs and children can be so perfect... My 2 girls are currently having immense fun with the pups, don't think they realise just how lucky they are!
