Anyone else doing homemade gifts for kids?

I'm making my son a big sensory basket

i got a wicker basket and will put things in like a pastry brush, wooden spoon, some shells that I will collect from the beach, some fir cones, different scraps of fabric, light up ball, plastic bottles or milk cartons filled with things like water and glitter, oil and water, rice and pasta. Might try and get some lavender and put that in a drawstring bag as well.

I have collected most bits from home and went into wilkinsons today and got a few more bits. Just need to collect a few more bottles so I can finish it off.

I know my little one will love it as he loves sensory stuff

I'm not as I'm purely crap at anything creative BUT my Mum is under orders to make a ton of clothes for DD's doll

I'm not because I am useless at crafts and everything like that but it's a great idea!!
