Anyone else frustrated with FRERS?

Ok well if you've been reading my thread ive been getting faint pink positives on 10miu tests and wondfo pink handle tests for three days now. So i figured lets try a FRER.. i had only held my pee like less than an hour but i got three tests in it so i figured i'd keep the other two. Anyway i dipped the test for 5 seconds.. i *thought* i may have seen a very faint test line so i peed again and took a second test. The first test's control line was extremely dark.. burnt red color.. anyway the second test obviously is faulty. I dipped it again for 5 seconds as always and as the instructions state to do.. after 3 minutes when it says to read the test the control line was barely even visible.. after more than 8 minutes it was a few shades darker.. still extremely faint pink though.. its now been about over a half hour and its still very light not even half of a half of a shade of the other tests control line and it had streaks of dye running through it up until a few minutes ago.. i payed almost 20.00 and this is the crappy tests i get.. not to mention over a week ago bought a two pack of answer early tests and the windows were both severly scratched and i called the hotline and they claim they sent me out a coupon for a new box which i have yet to recieve I could of gotten like 100 wondfos for the price i payed for these two crap tests.. not to mention the faulty one with light pink control line after a few minutes where the test line is has a deep clear indent..

Every box of FRER's I have bought in the last few cycles (which is a lot, let me tell ya! lol) have ALL had scratches on the screen. Some not too terrible but some pretty bad. And I wont even start on the HUGE indents I got, and I am talking WIDE clear lines, that once you opened the case up, you could literally see through them..... They can be pretty sensitive but they are so poorly made anymore and they dont have the "quality" they like to pass off....

I have had the scratches on the screen too. Not with the box I have now yet. But. I am getting two pink good lines on my tests but when I open them I am heart broken. I want to bash these tests against wall.

yeah i know.. its ridiculous for the price you pay for them.. are my 10miu tests im getting pink lines on for 3 days now more sensitive than a frer? I called them about the answer test with severely scratched screens last week and they boasted it doesnt matter if i was to use an answer test or frer i will get the same result.. i asked the sensitivity and they said they cannot give that out and that their test does NOT measure MIU'S but instead its a test to detect presence of hcg.. i was like ok then

god i wish my camera had working batteries right now.. i just took the last frer test but this time i peed ON the stick for five seconds.. i think more hormone gets on it that way because more pee goes on it anyway after about 5 minutes or less after the screen turned white theres a very faint baby pink test line.. this test has not one scratch or indent on it and the control line is dark red/pink.. omg u guys should i buy more frers in a few days? im expecting more 10miu tests and two 20miu aimstrip tests in the mail any day.. ill update you guys!! I just dont get it though.. i know one of them had hardly any dye in it but the other one why was that one negative even though it had indents? different hcg concentration in this urine sample? maybe more hcg on the test because i peed ON it instead of dipping? when i dip the test it takes like 10 seconds for the pee to start going through the screen where as when i peed on the test stick as soon as i was done it was half through the screen already.

Well....let me say that I hate FR. I buy them cuz they're pink dye and my selection here is limited, but really have very little nice to say about them. The ones I've taken in the past couple of days have "lines" that start out pink, then white, then who knows what?! Kinda shadowy. Lots of the tests have had scratches. IF your tests are super bad, call and complain and they will send out replacements. If you do buy more, take the coupon with you that comes in the box and save $2 on your next ones.

I was frustrated with the FRER/Answer brands. it seemed I could always see a bit of "something" then this last cycle, I thought I saw something..then the next day that something was a bit darker (dh still coudlnt see it though) and the next day I saw a geryish looking line (that was barely visabble in pics) but DH could see. so I tested with dolla tree and got a much better PINK line! my conclusion...Frer/answer sucks! or at least to me! but I have to say, they do show the progression from virtually non existant/light/med/dark etc etc exceedingly well. so I DO prefer them for progression type pics LOL

I've taken so many frers that now I know that if there's no color, it's negative. The indents are brutal, and if you rip the test apart you can see the line as it dries clear as day. The only reason I keep buying them is because of their sensitivity and I've noticed that gals that are indeed pregnant will get a line pretty early.

i know you guys.. im not relying on the frer's but on my wondfo's and new choices and 10 miu tests ive been getting pink lines on for a few days now,, and yes!! please do call and demand a refund check or coupon.. personally id take the coupon they give it to you good for up to like 25-30+ on each product the frer is a few dollars more though.. good on ovulation OR pregnancy tests.. they take like over a week or 10 days to get but hey might as well if you got a neg this month for next month.. ive gotten 2 coupons from them in the past because of these scratched/indented issues.. they just want the box barcode info and will send you one..

FRER's have continued to give me false positives, so it seems. I think they are not as good quality now.

Just wanted to tell you my experience. I had bought 10miu IC and wasnt very happy with them. I started temping and had a really good feeling I could be preggo. I only doubted myself cause of previous months of thinking I was. So we were going to a wedding and I took the 10miu that morning cause I didnt want to drink if I was pregnant. BFN. so I drank like a fish (not a drinker at all but forced myself to for SIL wedding). That was saturday on sun I bought a FR for Mon morning. Woke up did the 10miu BFN. Thought what the hell dipped the FR in the same pee and I had a blaring positive! so I do not trust those 10miu and it makes me wonder if FR wouldve showed b4 the wedding. I trusted the other ones stupid me.

I got very faint BFP's on pink wondfos and BFN on FRER on 10dpo. I had so many faint lines on the pink wondfos I thought I was losing my mind because I figured SURELY if lines were showing up on the internet cheapie wondfos that the FRER would certainly be there. Not one hint of there being pink to the frer indent when I took the test apart. Not until the following evening did FRER show up BFP (very light!) and my pink wondfos were obviously BFP (but still light). I was surprised the wondfos picked it up so much more than FRER!

Something interesting I've noticed. I started testing at 7dpo with frer. Didn't see anything on that day, took it apart, long time after it dried, still nothing. On 8 dpo, nothing at first, after it dried tiny bit of pink. Then 9, nothing at first, after dry noticeably more pink than day before. 10 dpo, today, the famous disappearing line, definitely seen one, after I took it apart, looks the same, but interested to see if there is more pink than last two days. I'm such a nerd, I feel like I'm experimenting!
