Anyone else NOT broody?

I'm forever seeing threads about wanting another baby and it gets me thinking about how UNbroody I am! My LO is nearly one and we're going to TTC next summer when he'll be two and a bit. We have a big family holiday planned next August and I sooooo want to enjoy beers in the sunshine and wearing nice bikinis...

I didn't hate being pregnant - there was a lot of it I really enjoyed, but the novelty of not being pregnant is still going strong nearly 12 months on! I can't imagine wanting to be pregnant again anytime soon! In fact, I'm a bit miffed because the year we're TTC I'm turning 30 and we're planning a mini break somewhere romantic... I can't imagine being pregnant for that either, although it's a real possibility!

Anyone else as selfish as I am lol?!

ETA: One of my main reasons beside alcohol and blue cheese is that I just enjoy having our one LO so much - I can't imagine having anymore love to give another child!

Me! Its been over three years that I have been either pregnant or breastfeeding, and I cant wait to have my body back to myself. I stopped bf dd1 when I was 3 months prgnant so i didnt get a break in between them. I do want another child eventually but for now no way! As soon as I have weaned little miss onto formula I want to be selfish!

I actually love that your reasons are alcohol and blue cheese lol. 9 months away from those is a lifetime
I am not really broody either, I look at other babies and pregnancies and miss mine, but I don't have an urge to have another. I think my first has scared me off having any more any time soon though (rio was in NICU for 7 weeks) I don't want to ever have to do that again and I would be high risk for another prem so don't think I would ever enjoy another pregnancy x

I'm hoping I'll get broody before next summer so that I actually want to TTC! We always planned that the ideal gap would be around three years and then we'll probably be done, but if we change our minds then we'll both still be young enough to go for a third (not all that likely but you never know)!

I won't lie though, alcohol and cheese are my main reasons. Now I know how boring life is when you can only drink coke and eat cheddar, I'm so reluctant to repeat it!

I'm enjoying jenson so much and we're trying to find a house to buy and saving for & planning our wedding, and I don't want to have to lose another baby's worth of baby weight before we get married, and that isn't until May 2019! Lol maybe ttc again in 2020, or on the honeymoon ha x

My LO is almost one and I'm not the slightest bit broody. I had a crap pregnancy and a traumatic labour. Not in any rush to go through all that again despite peoe constantly telling me I will change my mind!

No broodiness here either! Now when I see someone pregnant I think poor thing has that newborn stage coming right up and it isn't pretty no matter how 'good' your baby is!! I don't think I'll ever be broody again now I know the reality and the hard work of pregnancy and the first year.

I will be ttc fairly soon, because I want lo to have a sibling, but I freely admit that my reasons are 1. I'm coming 32 and 2. I want it over and done with so I can get my life back!! I can't wait to have another so I can draw a line under this stage of out lives and know I never have to do pregnancy or babies again!

Flip I prob sound awful but I just can't wait to get on with our lives raising children, taking holidays, not saving for maternity leave and not getting up to put dodos in during the night!

Oh and the freedom to drink alcohol on those odd nights off will be a great bonus too 😄

I felt exactly the same as you with my first. I'm broody now but I'm not sure if it's genuine broodiness or just not coming to terms with DS2 being our last!

This one is our 2nd and last, it took until Xmas 2012 for me to be broody/actually want a 2nd!!!

Me! I can't see myself ever being broody again. I don't really like the newborn stage to be honest.

Nope. Don't want another at all. Never even got that broody over having number 2.
