Hi, I'm A- was told by the midwife last week will need injection at 28 weeks and one just after birth. She told me it usually doesn't cause problems in 1st pregnancy but can in your 2nd so they give the injections.
yep me too, will have anti d at 28, then told they then check after birth. Got told if have any major bumps to come in and they will give me one there and too. xxx
I am having the same thought. I am O rh-, when I first went to see the midwife, I was told I would get them especially as I had mc'ed previously and would be more likely to have antibodies in my blood, however since then I have found out (after my lovely OH went and got tested at the blood donors) that he is A rh- so may not pose a threat. Will have to wait until my 16 week check up to find out.
hi ladies, i'm o- and have 2 little girls, had injections with both of them in pregnancy and afterwards because they are both +, if the baby is - you will not need an injection after birth x
