Hi ladies,

I was wondering if any other second tri ladies still have really, really tender breasts? When I was pregnant with my daughter they felt better at about 12 weeks but this time they are still really ouchie.

I am 17 weeks and have tender nipples and a burning feeling accross the sides of my breasts.

I am really hoping it doesn't mean they are about to grow again. I have been a 36F since having my daughter and I already feel like they're too big

YES!...they haven't stopped hurting and I've already gone up 2 sizes and am a DD now!..DH likes it...but pretty soon if they get bigger I'll need a shopping cart to walk them around

Me!! I feel exactly the same. My nipples kill, and not to mention the shooting pains I get when I least expect it! Fun fun :P lol.

Me too! Don't have any specific pains, just still feeling overall achy and tender. Esp when my 3 yr old son decides to climb over me :dohh: I'm currently a 34f really don't want them getting any bigger!!

Mine were fine up until last night when they suddenly became sore. Poor DH was confused when I told him they were once again off limits. This time it seems to be my poor nips that are getting the brunt of the pain.

Mine are definitely still very sore, especially the nipples. The veins look horrible in them at night when I take my bra off and I swear I can actually SEE them throbbing! The one thing that has helped has been the maternity bras I bought. I can't really wear them during the day because my boobs are so big they would not be supportive at all, but when I get home in the evening I switch to one to wear around the house and to bed, and it has made a world of difference.

Thanks ladies, it's nice to know I'm not the only one, although I'm sorry you're having to deal with it as well :flower:

Kellen I know what you mean about them being off limits. I cringe when they're touch and like Lulu I have to stifle a scream when my LO climbs up them (or my cat for that matter!).

Babydreams that's a good idea about wearing maternity bra's at home (I couldn't wear them to work either). I still have some from when I was pregnant with my daughter so might even try wearing one to bed tonight x

Hey hun, so know how your feeling.
When I was pregnant with my little boy they stopped being tender around 12 weeks I was a E cup but went up to a 42F in pregnancy by the end and a 42G once my milk came through. Once I had finished breast feeding and my milk stores dried up I went down to a D and over the past 2 years settled at a 38DD.
This pregnancy they have been feeling major heavy, achy with stinging burning nipples (sorry for tmi) it's really painful. I'm already a 38F and I've still got 14 weeks left.
Really hope all you ladies are feeling better soon! xx

Hi Star

Mine are still tender, more so when I take my bra off at night. Fin kicked one of them at swimming on Monday and it absolutely killed! I've not noticed them growing over the last few weeks x

I started at a DD+ and I HAVE to wear a bra to bed...
I've been leaking since like 15 weeks after tons of the shooting pains, weird nipple pains and twinges.... No idea what I'll be by the time I'm bfing......

Yes me! Not always but sometimes my nipples still get super sore! boobs not so much now! really hoping its not like this once ive had bubs or im not sure i could hack breastfeeding:-( hope it wears off for u soon!!xxxx

Mine are super sore still, and like everyone else said ESPECIALLY the nipples! I feel like they've gotten bigger but I haven't moved up in bra size just yet....though I need to LOL

My nipple are killing me! I barley had any achy boobs in the first tri..only around the time of af...but now it feels like i got my nipples peirced, which i havent, ugh!! Ive gone up a cup aswell..

is it normal for your pregnancy symptoms to worsen when af would have been due??

Yes mine are sore and a real pain to get comfy when I'm trying to sleep. Not so much the nipples, though those are itchy. Mine have gone up 2 sizes to a 30G and still seem to be growing. My DH loves it but I just wish they would stop!

Wow so many more of us than I expected.

Does anyone have any more tips for how we can make it a bit more bearable? x

Hey everything  :flower:

Ouch! Maia randomly decided to grab mine this morning and I actually screamed! Couldn't help it, I think the poor thing was quite taken back by it.

Hope you are well (apart from the ouchie boobies at least) x

My breasts were never too sore, but nipples are still fairly sensitive at 17 weeks. Though... they are almost pleasantly sensitive. :P If hubby licks them or touches them lightly it feels good, anything rougher to stimulate them, though, and it hurts.

Go on all fours in the bath and lightly dip your breasts in and out of the warm water helps me a little xx
