Anyone else thinking about waiting till after the big day?opinions please....

I have bought this much for Jack (4) so far......
Hornby devon flyer electric train set £60
ELC keyboard/microphone £45
Playmobil shark explorer set £10
Playmobil Jewel thieves set £5
Spongebob activity set £1
lightening mcqueen towel £3
Thomas,Rheneas and the dinosaur bones train set £20
Happyland police station £15
Dvds-sleeping beauty/sword in the stone £14 combined

And as he comes from a split family he will gets LOTS more (His dad buys him the same amount as i do-sometimes more).

Now i definately want to buy him the Boots globetrotter (£25) and a peppa pig lunchbox (£8.00) and peppa clock (£15!!) but im considering waiting until they have gone down in price in the January sales........opinions please as to whether i shouldn't be so tight (haha) and just get them or should i just wait?its nice opening lots on xmas day but i know i will feel majorly gutted when i see their prices plummet in January

You know something, looking at the list of what you have so far, plus the fact he will get loads more, I would wait for the sales

Besides, a few nice gifts after Christmas are always nice too

I haven't spent as much as usual because i have been really careful-we lack storage now because his still playing with the stuff i bought him last xmas and its still in immaculate condition (yea-i cant believe it either!).
Plus his dad will spend over £500 on him.Plus the rest of the family,plus friends......eeek one spoilt boy.so thats why i havent spent/bought that much.

Don't feel badly at all. He sounds like he's going to get loads and loads. And, do you know what, he won't even remember where most of it came from...you, his dad, or other family. He'll more than likely think it all came from Santa

Sounds like you have some good stuff, btw. Those playmobile playsets are awesome. If Chase was a bit older, I would have got him those.

i have bought annabelle loads and i have also put some money to one side to go and get her some bits in the sales, mainly clothes from the sales but i have seen a few bits that are just so expensive

Thing is-his not only getting those playmobil sets from me-his dad has bought him the big police station,the police motorbike, helicopter and the patrol car.Amongst other sets he has got him.Maybe i am right in waiting after reckoning up what he's is already gona get!

Id wait , he will get so many presents he wont even know what to do with them all! It looks as though you have got him alot anyway , plus after the sales your bound to get two things for the price of what one would cost
