Anyone got one on the way with one, two, three or more others with close age gaps???

Hi all

Just wondered how many of you have little ones with very close age gaps and indeed, how you cope/coped??!!

I have just found out I am pregnant with my 3rd baby and also have a stepson who lives with us who is nearly 9 years old, my eldest son who is 2 years 4 months and my youngest son who is 9 months old.

Am excited but really really anxious!!! Secretly hoping for a girl this time too! I was nausious this time even before I found out I was pregnant!!!

Any info/advice very welcome.

Jasmine is 13 months and will be about 21-22 months when this one is born... Not sure if thats considered "close" lol

i have a 3 yr old and a 14 mo old. their bdays are 8 days shy of two years apart. my youngest will be 20 or 21 mo when this one is born.
having them so close together is hard i won't lie. but it's getting easier, my oldest cries when i out the youngest down for a nap becuz "i was playing with him". the worst part is that your baby is still a baby when the new baby is born. but they adjust much faster at a young age just watch out for hitting, that was our biggest problem

I am pregnant with our 2nd and Alfie has just turned 1, he will be 21 months when the LO arrives, it was planned this way so just a case of waiting and seeing what happens lol

My daughter is 13 months and will be about 21 months when LO arrives, how I'll cope not too sure. I think you just do. x

I have a 13 month gap and I love it. Actually am so much happier having both of them than I was with just Theo. I think it is as I am so busy and the boys are so cute together. It is hard work but def worth while.

my kids age gaps are all over the place I have one turning 18 in june and a 13 year old a 4 year old (well turning 4 on the 19th) and a just turned 2 year old and baby # 5 due in june and I think the younger ones will be closer friends than the older ones as they can relate better and they didn't have time to get used to having me to them self before the next one came. it's also harder because of the hitting and biting they do mostly when teething and have one in nappies and one potty training and one just finished training, seems like an endless day of changing baby's and picking up toys and washing clothes but its all soooo worth it.

i have a little girl who is 1 next week and am nearly 18 weeks pregnant with twins. Lexie will be 15-16 months when the babies arrive. Planned for a small age gap, just not the twin part!

Oy, I feel for those of you having twins with other young ones, that must be a handful!

Lucius is 13 months, he'll be 19 and a half months when this one arrives. Or maybe 20 months if this one is as late as he was lol!

Wow it seems there are quite a few of you out there in similar situations. Twins with other little ones must be quite a juggling act! ; )

There will be 26 months between this one and my youngest Ellie, also have an older daughter who will be 14 4 days after my due date. What have I done.....a teenager, a toddler and a newborn!!! God help me lol

My son was 22mths when my daughter was born. I found it easier at first and harder when they both got older. 2/3 was the hardest age. Its getting better though. You cope because you have too and its not all bad x

My boys were / are close in age. I fell pregnant with my 2nd child when my 1st was only 9mths so they are 18mth apart and then there is 2yrs between my middle and 3rd son, so I had 3 boys under 4yrs of age.

Hard work, they kept me busy, but wouldn't change a thing, they fight like mad and are also super close and hang out together all the time.

Now I am pregnant again with twins but this time I am having a large gap. My youngest will be 10, middle boy 12 and eldest 13 1/2, so looks like I will get plenty of help this time around.

My oldest is 3 (will be 4 in July when this baby is due) my youngest is 11 months so it will be about a 18 month age gap between my youngest and this baby.

I am quite scared about having such a small gap but im sure when bubs comes along everything will fall into place.

i have 5,3,and a 1 year old and preg with no 4!! you will be fine hun baby no 3 will just slip into your routine its not much different from having 2 xxx

I'm not talking from experience because I'm expecting #1, but I have a friend that is only 1 yr apart from her sister. That means her mum got pg when she was 3mo!!! That hasn't been a problem for them as they did most things together and mother felt better about it, like going out and stuff, they were only allowed out if together. We hated it at the time but now I see the point. And they are very close together now. They have a younger sister but with a 7yr age gap so I'm guessing second and third pregnancy weren't planned but they managed... I'm glad to see so many ladies cope as I'm hoping to have a 2yr max age gap between the 4 kids I want... Crazy I know, but I'd love it that way! xxx
