Getting mine out on the 21st October - yey! I hate the thing - my periods are so long and heavy now. when I get it out I'll be on CD19 of quite a long cycle (last cycles have been 36-40 days, but I am BFing). Just wondering whether my period will be long and heavy the AF after the coil is out, or will it be more like pre coil? Obviously my uterus lining will.already be built up, so I'm guessing it might be heavy still.
Also I read a research paper about the copper coil seeming to delay ovulation, but also shorten LP... This seems to be the pattern with me (but then I am BFing as I said) and wondered if any of you ladies has found anything similar?
