Anyone having their second baby?

Just wondering how many of you are on your second pregnancy, and how is it different from your first? Also, what was the sex of your first? I had a boy first, and the differences for me so far are:

Less acne this time around
More weight gain (all over) this time around
Not as interested in this pregnancy (hope that doesn't sound bad)
Feeling sexier this time
More tired
Not as moody this time (yet)
My gums bled when I brushed my teeth the first time, they haven't bled yet with this one.

These are just some differences so far...it will be interesting to read some of yours!

im having my second baby, my first was a boy and he's 6 now going on 7 in august.
this pregnancy is very different from my first, and this time im having a girl...

i had serious morning sickness this time round so serious it put me in hospital for a week.

im not as big this time, i was huge with my first.

i dont feel sexy this time but did last time

not had any moods really, last time i was a witch...lol

it also seemed easier last time, this time iv found it so hard to do anything.

im having my baby girl this coming monday via c-section and to be honest im glad this pregnancy is going to be over, monday just cant come quick enough...lol

I just had my little boy 6 months ago and my pregnancy was similar to that when I was carrying my daughter. The noticeable differences were that I was 'all belly' with my son, whereas I put weight on everywhere with my daughter and I was waaaay more moody when I was carrying my daughter!

Oh and one other thing - when I was pregnant with my girl, I craved savoury, salty foods and when expecting my boy, I craved sweet?! Obviously that's by no means an indicator as to which sex you're carrying, but it's interesting all the same!

I had my son 7 yrs ago and this time Im having a girl and its a HUGE HUGE Diffrence!!!

Super morning sickness this time and none with my son..
Acne big time now didnt break out with my son
I Hate sex and dont even feel the least it sexy this time as last time i was big time horn dog nd always wanted it now it makes me sick to think about it..
I crave sweet things with this one and with my son i craved spicey stuff...
And last but not least im a complete bitch this timearound and with my son i was never moody and always happy!!! There are a ton more diffrences this time than last but those are the major diffrences!!!

This is my 2nd baby. I had a boy the first time around and this pregnancy has been completely different.

~Morning sickness lasted way longer with this one than it did with my son.
~I was a complete cow this time around, I mean mood swings from hell and crying all the time for nothing. I was bitchy at first with my son then I was happy all the time.
~I gained way more weight with my son and this one it seems like only my belly is growing.
~I got bad acne with this one and none with my son.
~My hair was fuller with my son and this time around it looks like limp noodles lol.
~This baby likes to stay way low while my son loved to be high.
~Wanted sex all the time with my son but this one it was only for a few weeks and now, even if we were allowed, I wouldn't want it

I know I'm forgetting some stuff but thats most of it. Also, I don't know the sex of this baby but hopefully I'll know next Tuesday!

I had my 2nd, but the differences were huge - I almost went thru with zero symptoms with my 1st and had a girl, and second time round I had bleeding, HG & SPD and was dog rough, I could barely move I had a boy! x

Thanks for the responses, it's fun to read the differences you all are having. I am really hoping for a girl this time around, but I just really don't know... my symptoms seem to be different than the first time, but maybe that's because I am not freaking about every little thing that I feel like I did with baby #1. They say a girl steals your beauty, but I had horrible acne on my chest and back with baby #1 and he was a BOY... This time, not so much! ARGH! I get to find out next month...keep your fingers crossed for a girl!! I want to open some pink onesies at my shower!

hi i had 2 boys misscarried and 1 little girl with my first boy i was sick for about a wk and that was it he passed away when he was 2 and me and his father finished before he was born anyway i met another bloke who im still with now i got pregnant in 2004 and my pregnancy was totally different to my first son i was sick all the time right through my pregnancy so we thought it was a girl but scan revealed it was another boy then in 2006 i caught again and that pregnancy was totally different my boobs were getting big but thats about it no sickness i was totally fine but sadly misscarried i was around 5-6 wks then about 4-5 wks later i caught again and the same symptoms as the baby i mc but then sometime i get out of bed and be sick or after a belly full of food id be sick but apart from that i was fine but it was totally different to morgan and after 2 scans it was a girl but i had that gut instinct that she was a girl xxx

*Boobs have gone massive (stayed same size all the way through last time)

*Pregnancy is going so fast this time compared to last time
*Already got a bump, didn't last time untill around 28 weeks
*Putting on weight everywere this time
*Want sex all the time lol

This is my second baby, first was a girl and this one is apparently a girl too

There is about 12 years between the two and the pregancies are completely different so far.

• I didn't have much morning sickness with DD1, but massive MS with this one
  
• I'm carrying this baby very low, DD1 was high in my torso.
  
• I started out 15 lbs heavier with this one than with the last, and have gained a little more weight with this one compared to same time with last one.
  
• I'd say minus that 15 extra pounds I'm showing about the same with both. My tummy muscles had quite a long time to recouperate from the first.
  
• I crave OJ with this one (though it doesn't agree with my digestive tract IYKWIM) ... Tomato Juice was my craving with my first DD.
  
• I don't remember being this exhausted with my first.

My girls have different fathers so maybe thats a contributor to some of the differences, I have no idea.

Ive just had my second child, a boy, first one was a girl.

I felt much worse second time round. First time didnt show till i was 6months gone, 2nd time showed pretty much straight away. Also only put on 2 stone in first pregnancy, 2nd time i put on 41/2 stone.

Morning sickness real bad with my daughter, couldnt eat a thing but with my son i would just about eat anything in sight (hence the massive wieght gain)

My first child is a boy (nearly 9 now) and I am pregnant with my second baby. This time around my pregnancy is TOTALLY different.

The main differences are:

Last time I was sick constantly from week 5 to week 15 and even the thought of food made me throw up everywhere (normally wherever I happened to be at the time). This time around, my morning sickness has lasted from week 9 to week 13 and has been no where near as severe as it was last time. I have had a few days where I have actually been sick and I still feel a bit dodgy in the mornings sometimes, but I can pretty much eat whatever I want, but sweet things are best at the moment. My son made me crave tons of mild cheese and vegetable curry LOL!

I only got heartburn in the last two weeks with my son, I have had it constantly with this little one from the instant I conceived.

I have been a moody cow bag with this one, I was very contented and quiet with my son.

I was huge with Zach and I carried high and all front, but with this little one I have put weight on all over LOL!

I couldn't drink tea or coffee last time, this time I can drink tea by the gallon.

I couldn't sleep on my side with Zach from early on, I can with this one.

I worry more this time round

Hi there,

Im 15 weeks with my second pregnancy and have a 20 month old boy and oh my god is this one totally different!

Im so tired its unbearble some days to get out of bed
I have had terrible nausea and or vomiting from beginning
Terrible headaches
Terrible muscle aches in my legs all day
So moody and aggressive

I literally sailed through my pregnancy with my son and can't believe ive got so long to go for this one to end........... maybe its a girl.... who knows....... all i want is to feel well again!

Let's see, I'm 14 1/2 weeks along, and my daughter is 2 1/2.

So far:

* Boobs took longer to *explode* (get HUGE)- with first pregnancy that was my FIRST symptom!

* Showing MUCH faster!

* A LOT more sick this time!!!! Just nausea with the first one, no throwing up.

* A LOT more cravings this time, and WAY more hungry all the time!

* Having migraines with this one- didn't with first.

* WAY more tired!

* Less self-consious.

* More interested in sex so far.

* NOT scared this time!!!

* A LOT less moody!

* And last, definately going a LOT faster this time!!!

Shocking all day sickness with 3 daughters and just a touch of evening sickness this time(having a boy in May), apart from that much the same , although I do find I could cry at the silliest of things this time.

I am on number 2 and this pregnancy has been a breeze compared to my dd.

No morning sickness!! YEAH!
No real back aches and pains yet.
A little tired but nothing I can't handle
I am still able to be up and active with my daughter.

First pregnancy was awful I was sick everyday all day and I was on bedrest from 3 months on.
