My husband and I are going to TTC within the next few months and we're already talking about baby names. We have a daughter, and it took us FOREVER to agree to her name! Anyway, if we have another girl, the name "Amaya" was suggested to us, as it is a Japanese name. (I'm half Japanese). I love it, think it's beautiful...but when I look online, about half the sites I come across confirm that it is indeed a Japanese name loosely meaning "Night rain", but then the other half of the sites say no, it's not. I've talked to the Japanese side of my family and they can't seem to agree!
