Anyone here with vertigo? please help!

This is going on week 3 now where I'm super dizzy and nearly nauseated. It only happens at night when I'm getting ready to go to bed. The second I lay down (or lay on the couch) everything spins and I need to sit up so I don't puke. Laying ob my left is the worst, I have to sleep propped up and even then it's not really sleeping.
My OB only today mentioned that it might be vertigo and gave me a script for meclizine which I really rather not take.
I haven't done much research to find a normal remedy to make this go away but I did make an appt with my family doc to see if I have an inner ear issue.


Anyone out there have suggestions?

I've had vertigo a few times, once in my previous pregnancy, it really sucks and is horrible to deal with, I haven't taken any meds either.. I have no advice on how to cure it. But just wanted to say you're not alone.. Hugs..

Yes it does suck very much. I can't concentrate at work in the mornings and feel like nothing gets done bc I just want to not move! Hopefully someone out there has a fix.
