Anyone in New Zealand?

i didnt get any maternity stuff with my 1st bub (xept bras). And i had a MASSIVE tummy. it was summer here so i was able to wear flowy hippy skirts with stretchy bands. i'm due the same time again this time so will just do the same hehe

I don't have any flowy hippy skirts!!! Must go and buy some!! :)

But yeah, glad we can get away with loose dresses etc. It's just work clothes I'm worried about.

i need new maternity stuff i got rid of most of it and now what i have left is failing to reach around this growing bump which is no good since i have to go out every day now to take Nate to preschool

Does any NZ mums know where to get some BFing tops from for spring/summer??? I can't find any appropriate tops and on EGG they are over $100 each!!

i never got any actual bfing tops with ella but i saw a cool one at the warehouse for $20

i just double layer my tops so wear a strappy vest under a looser t-shirt for breastfeeding worked fine for me. check around your area for second hand baby stuff stores i know there were a few in Chch some years back and my mum got stuff from them including clothing

glad you feel better, sorry you had a rough patch i had a throat infection for the last 2 days could barely talk yesterday and im still all croaky today, thankfully DH has the next 2 wks off so i dont have to do quite so much as he will be able to do the nursery run with Nate to save my pelvis from the dreaded PGP

ohhh that sounds nasty! Glad you are feeling better!!

Got a doppler last week and found baby's heartbeat on Saturday. 160bpm! Most amazing thing ever :)

Im not allowed to splash out at get one of those lol are you starting to show wilsey? where dod you get your doppler from?

Just off baby4you. That's fair enough - I think I need it becaues I'm a bit of a stress bunny.

My pants definitely aren't fitting like that used to. I can't wear my jeans anymore - but bloated belly is too big for them! You?!

nah because ive been so sick ive lost weight but i noticed today after my 1st day of eating proper i have a food baby hahaha.

I have quite a flat stomach so all my friends say it is quite noticable. Definitely looks like me at Xmas - biggest food baby of them all!! ;)

Ooooh lucky you guys will be able to eat all the xmas food you like :D

Wow! Not long to go for you OctBebe (Livy). You excited?!

Im very nervous, but so excited at the same time, its my first baby so I'm not too sure what to expect. I'm just having a sit down, today I am setting up his room (leave it to the last minute) lol. :happydance:

you will be fine hun, biggest tip i have for first timers is "breathe" and not that labour breathing panting stuff they teach you but if you can focus on each contraction and exhale slowly and breath deeply through them relaxing your body from your face all the way to your feet it does allow your body to cope with them better. i just wish someone had told me during my first labour.
