Anyone planned or helped plan a Charity Ball/night?

I've been thinking about it. I'm not like a formal one or anything so far but I want to have a Charity Night to raise money. I have a few Charities in mind at the moment and it's just ideas but I don't have a clue where to start, what's is needed, what is done etc.

so seems like a baby fish in the ocean and it's a huge long shot what I hope to do. I say a lot of things but things get in the way so I WANT to get some Charity fund-raising done again. I use to do it a lot before Isaac and second bump came along.

So any help, tips, plans etc will be grateful appreciated .

I help my mate do a charity ball. they start planning about now to do it december. theres is in a church x

how much money etc is involved?

The people who help out should be free as charity. speek to local church and see if they will do free or cheap fee. then all decs and maybe find a local band.. really depends what you can get donated x
