Anyone single moms, FOB not interested?

I have been in this situation, with my DS, FOB didn't speak to me at all tilI was around 16 weeks but now he dotes on him.I can't tell you the same will happen for you but like others have said it doesn't feel as real for them.

As for its his right not to choose to become a father, then he should have put something on the end of it and covered his own back!!! Especially if it was a one night stand/casual sex.

I can't say I'm in the same position as you but its different for men, the second a woman becomes pregnant she becomes a mother (figure of speech), men on the other hand aren't a father until the baby is born...the baby is a complete stranger to them. I think its hard for them to have attachment to something that they have no feelings toward...does that make sense?

I agree with this entirely. with my 1st oh told the docs that if something was wrong don't try and save the baby just me, this all changed when he saw ds
