Anyone starting Femara/Letrozole in April?

I've been TTC for 3 1/2 years. I suspected PCOS for a long time & I don't ovulate. I was officially diagnosed with PCOS in January. Started Metformin on January 30th & am now up to 1500mg. Also took Provera to bring on AF after not having it since August last year. Got AF on February 6th and haven't had it again since. I'm taking Provera again this month on the 27th to bring on AF and then will be starting Femara/Letrozole on CD3.

Just wondering if there's anyone else out there that are starting in April too. Always nice to have friends who understand

Well, I was planning to start Femara in about 3 weeks. Plans have changed.

Today I was having alot of weird pain around my ovaries/uterus. Yesterday I was abnormally wet down there too... I brushed it off since I'm on CD42 and didn't expect anything to happen on my first cycle with Metformin. Well, J and my friend convinced me to take an opk just in case and it was positive. For the first time since like 2009, I am ovulating. I sat in the bathroom and cried for like 10 minutes. I will have my first two week wait. No matter the outcome, I am happy beyond words.

Hey Congrats on the ovulation did you catch the eggy? I'm starting femara in May dx 2009 with pcos.

Sadly no I started my first round of Femara on April 1st. I did 2.5mg on CD3-7. I'm on CD18 now and so far no ovulation unless I missed my surge on OPKs. I'm starting to feel like this cycle is a bust. If I don't ovulate this week I'm going to call my doctor and ask to try 5mg next cycle and when to start Provera to bring on AF. If I don't get my BFP this cycle, I'll be doing another round in May too

Sweet! I hope you get your bfp tho! I'll be doing 5mg aswell af should be showing up next weekend if not I'll ask for provera to bring it on.
