Well, I'm out. The spotting turned into my dumb AF. I have no idea why i had all those symptoms if i wasnt pregnant. but hopefully after my af is gone i'll feel better and can start trying again in October. =( Pretty bummed, but it will be alright.

Hello everyone, I am new to these posts to ill fill u in..
This is my 3rd monthTTC, I had my positive OPK Sept 19th, only ten days after my period so probably ovulate like 11 days after period.. I had intercourse the 17th 18th 19th 20, and 21st,(eager to cover all the basis)lol. well I geard a rumor that u cld use OPK as pregnancy tests (and they were cheaper) so what the heck.. I tested using OPK On the 23-25 and had no line at all, then on 26-now i had a second line getter darker everyday.. So yesterday i took a FRER and came out with a very faint pos.. Today its a noticable BFP! Sooo, im scared to get my hopes up the this to be a real pregnancy because its so early and many woman miscarry around the time of there period..My line is getter darker so do you all think its a good sign of a true BFP?? Let me know what you think.. Here are some of my symptoms...
1DPO-5 nothing really, cm mostly dry, a little tacky at times
6 DPO- very strong unusual pains in vagina( like a stabbing or pinching)
7 DPO- just very tired , feeling like a sinus infection
8 DPO-today, pretty much the same, extremely tired, very wet CM and white, mild cramps, and sinus infect syptoms..

I'm so happy that the 1st time I've joined a forum I get to witness such a fabulous long awaited BFP! How are the symptoms coming along? I got terrible acne at about 3/4 months, and treated myself to a nice Clinique face soap and moisturiser...

Ah! the best adventure of your life is beginning, it's so magic and full of emotion and just wait 'til the little monkey is born, it only gets better and better!

A line on a test, and then another darker, is definately the sign of a true BFP. You should see your doc and get a blood test, your beta numbers will give you an idea of how advanced/viable the pregnancy is, but you really have no need to rush or to worry and it looks like a big "Congratulations" is in order and you could allow your hopes to go up pretty high!
I understand your dread of miscarriage and unfortunately it does happen, sometimes earlier sometimes later, but for the moment you must just concentrate on that wonderful bfp and get the best care possible. Is this your 1st pregnancy?

Eh. Not much to speak of. Tired. Have a little bit of nausea and a couple of pimples. All normal signs of AF. (Pimples??? Really??? Of all the flipping things that leave after 30 something... I used to have great legs, flat tummy, and lean muscle... the only thing that stuck around was the pimples??? For the love of all that is good in the world.... Okay I'm done ranting. No I'm not. Yes I am. Shut up Tabby.)

I refused to test this morning. (Okay, I said this morning, because I know my will power will not last the evening. To self: "Silly girl.") I don't really have high hopes for this month, and I'm due the witch by tomorrow. She'll probably be late a couple of days, just so that I spend just a few more dollars on another stick. (...and we all know that I will.)

Hi Babyhopes; It must be so annoying when people give you their stories(and I'm full of them!) but it may just reassure you so I'll give it a whirl- my sister got married at 19 and didn't conceive her 1st child until she was 23 (which to me seems really young, I was still in the student bar!) but for my dear sis it was a lifetime! She was so cut up about it, and had endless tests at the hospital and then, WHAM! just when she was on holiday chilling in Tenerife....my lovely niece began! The 2nd, my yummy nephew, came 6 months after my DN's birth, and then my sis "accidently" gave me a 3rd lovely niece 11 yrs after the 1st! You so have time on your side, so keep at it and as you said about others in one of your posts, it'll be a dream come true for you too one day. And as Stillwaiting posted, a visit to the doc will see that all is in order if your next few cycles aren't successful, but I'm sure you'll fall pregnant- it may be just when you're least expecting it!

aww too bad, but it means we get to do this again next month! Im hoping to get my bfp by xmas so 3 more tries.

there are so many people who have symptoms they thought theyd never had before on here, I think we notice so much more when we are officially trying. this months period has been so weird for me, 5 days of light spotting then wham today its full on.

By Googling I see that there are quite a number of Starbucks in your area. I didn't see anything on the Pumpkin Latte in France. I would be so bummed if I talked you into it, and they had none. I might have to protest in front of the Starbucks and let them know my displeasure. How much for a ticket to France? Ha!! Okay, I might rethink that and resort to violence... I mean long nasty letters with really not nice words scribbled out.

Sarah: You've hit the nail on the head with symptom spotting. I never noticed those little pinches during O until after TTC for a while. I do remember during the 3 times that I was prego, that I just "felt" pregnant. I don't even know what that means, but I did.

bbnb5: HollyMonkey has it right. Tomorrow is not promised. All we have is this moment. If you have even the faintest of lines, then this is your moment and you should celebrate. If you are worried about the "what if" factor of telling everyone around you, then wait till your scan. I had a chem pregnancy once, and had the misfortune of posting on FB only to say I was unpregnant a few days later. Those things happen. Actually looking back, it turned out good in the end. I had a lot of support to pull me through those couple of days. A line is a line. You're either pregnant or your not. By the sounds of it. You're pregnant. Enjoy it!! Worry about the theme of the baby's room and picking out names.

ha ha - symptom-spotting. I have become an expert in this. However, I've also become an expert in thinking about possible other reasons why I have symptoms that are not pregnancy related - so it's generally all messing with my head!

Also, I've now got into quite regular testing - not sure if it's a good thing or not as it's so horrible to keep seeing the BFNs! But thanks to whoever it was about the tip of the internet cheapies - I've now got 20 test for about £4 from ebay. Obsessive testers unite! I have joined your ranks!

Congrats to the more recent BFPs. Very exciting for you. The little thread of hope that remains within me is wishing very much I will join you. But I think it looks more likely that the witch is on her way. I got very weepy at work today so I think that was a sign she's just around the corner
