Dogtanian - glad your hubby enjoyed the afternoon tea - yummy! Good news re O too. So does that mean you're now in the 2ww?

Mrs w- haha!! I have soooo had guests do that with our cat forks! So funny!! But definitely no penis beakers or post coital clean up areas in our household!

I can't wait for Xmas, we are having it at home this year. Dd is going to love it! I keep trying to teach her jingle bells but it doesn't seem to be going very well!!

Mrs w are you feeling better? Dd has hand foot and mouth but she has actually been alright with it. I now have a sore throat though so wondering if I'm getting it??!!

Well girls on cd29 today and no af but I'm pretty certain she will turn up soon. My cycle last month was 30 days so expecting her any time now feeling quite moist in my vajayjay (too much info? There is no such thing on here is there??!!) so keep rushing off to the bathroom for a toilet paper inspection!

I've started writing down my symptoms each month so that when I start symptom spotting I can go back to the previous month and give myself a talking to that 'symptoms' mean nothing!!

Anyway will keep you posted! Lots of luck to those currently o'ing and in the 2ww! X

I'm still feeling rough and Freya is poorly so I'm shattered but I've told hubby I don't want to miss the egg this month so he can fill up the penis beaker tonight

That made me laugh out loud!!! Hahahahaha penis beakers!! (I hope others know what we are on about!!!) enjoy dtd - nothing like feeling you have to do it when you're ovulating and don't really feel up to it!

Nah not gonna test - I would rather see af than a hideous lonely single line so will just wait it out I think! Also I threw the pregnancy tests in a cupboard that's super high up so I will really have to want to get them!! Haha!

Yeh I know, I can't really be bothered to bd but I'm lazy and I often can't be bothered and then enjoy ;-)

10 dpo today - I have a pretty short lp but it was around 10 days with dd and I managed to conceive on month 3 so not too worried although I have started thinking maybe I will take some vit b6 as its supposed to help lengthen it...

I reckon if I've not got my bfp by the end of the year and my lp is still looking short then I will give it a go.

I do love to have a plan of action!!

I'm fairly sure af will show by thurs so will test after then I guess...!! I'm trying not to think about it! I keep putting off going to the loo for fear of what I will find!!!!!!!!! It's not even as though I really think I'm preg more that I just don't want it to definitely be over for another month

Fleur if you are pregnant immediately call the doctor, hand and foot is very bad in pregnancy they may want to treat you, just in case....

I just say that b/c, although I am highly doubting it and seeking a lawyer, that is what my son passed from. I had no signs of it though and waiting for a full autopsy report which should be available now. The cardiologist said I would have no sign of it and it would have been caused the heart to go into SVT. Again, not sure if they were just telling me that to cover up the fact that my son was strangled by his cord but that was the first thing they said. I had no idea I would not show signs of it!

Not sure what it would do to a baby forming though

Weirdly my husband had hfm after my ds and I went to a local children's centre even though my husband never went. Neither myself or my ds caught it but hubby was terribly unwell with it.
Ha ha ha I've come on to catch up with posts and all I've read about is penis beakers. I am literally crying in laughter! What on earth are penis beakers?! I'm going onto Google right now ha ha ha!
Fleur I'm keeping my fingers crossed for u hun and hope your dd feels better soon. Sorry only a short post... Gotta find out what penis beakers are ha ha!!!

Castaway I'm sorry, I didn't realise that there was any mention of hand foot and mouth re Christopher passing away. I have read it can cause miscarriage but it said unlikely. I honestly think you would have had symptoms if you had it - my dd has big spots on her knees and feet and sores in her mouth too (lovely!) anyway I hope you get some proper answers soon. Big hugs xx

My husband had HF&M just after F started nursery. At the time we teased him for 'catching' something when we didn't. Turns out his wasn't contagious but a viral reaction as a result of having had gastric flu this year. Wasn't pleasant though.

Fingers crossed to everyone in the 2WW. I'm CD7. I think last month I o'd CD13, so on that basis we'll start DTD this weekend and see how we do.

Mrs w - did the beaker get an outing last night! Bahahaha!!!!

Guys - what would you make of this - (sorry this may be quite long!!) my mil was looking after dd today, as normal on a weds. I think I've mentioned before we have a tricky relationship with her and have had issues this year which I won't go into now.

Anyway, she has recently met a new guy - they've been together 3 months. He seems really nice and she is very happy with him. However, I've only met him once. She told me at the wknd she was bringing him over today for the whole day. That annoyed me as I would've liked to be asked if it was ok rather than told, is that unreasonable? I would've said it was fine but I would've liked to be asked. I think her priority on a weds should be dd not her new relationship. They are both retired so have all week to be together. I think it's a nice chance for her and dd to bond just the two of them. But ultimately I guess it is up to her what she does on a weds.

Anyway that's kind of by the by - today when I got home, dd was half way up our steep stairs, my mil was in the loo upstairs (so dd obviously following her) and her new bloke just sitting in the lounge. I didn't say anything at the time as dd ended up having a tantrum but the more I think about it - wtf??! Firstly, she obvs didnt shut the stairgate on the way up and second, he obvs just wasn't paying any attention to dd when she was left in his care.Now dd is steady and can climb up and down stairs very well but I still never let her do this on her own???! I couldn't believe it!!!

Argh sorry for the rant I just needed to get it off my chest. I feel like the moment has passed for saying anything to mil, but maybe I should?

Arghhh I wish we had never agreed to her looking after dd, it has honestly been more ball ache than its worth
