Anyone trying for #2 around cd 4?

Castaway I'm just catching up and have just seen this, I am so sorry hun. Echoing what the others have said you really don't deserve this and I think you are so strong. Your courage and the way you deal with things is so inspirational. Ill be keeping my fingers crossed for your bfp with a sticky bean next month and I know we all will.

Always here if you want to talk xxx

Castaway I'm glad you're being looked after. So when they say you will ovulate in 2 weeks will you ttc at that point or do you mean the month after that? I hope you get your bfp on your first go again. Fingers crossed the cbfm works its magic again for you.

Lots of luck tomorrow at your appointment. Keep us posted on how you get on xx

I go in to see the doc today. He had told me, last time, as long as everything came out that we can try again in 2 weeks. He made it seem like this pregnancy never really took, meaning a baby never grew so it is basically the tissue that was from implantation I am passing if that makes sense. He said that as I am older it was probably a chromosomal defect and my body detected it and would not let the pregnancy continue...So if doc is OK with it then yes we are going with no protection and praying to be blessed again!

Well I really hope that he gives you the all clear to ttc again in 2 weeks, you really deserve some good luck and I'm sure a sticky bean is just around the corner for you. Will be keeping everything crossed for you. Xxx

I've really been toying with saying anything, given what a crap time you've been having, but I feel like I kind of owe you castaway, as you were the one pushing me to get a cbfm - I got my bfp yesterday. Af still hadn't showed up so I did a test and the second line popped up pretty much immediately. Still in shock tbh and my only symptom is sore bbs. I am feeling very cautious and hoping I will get an early scan in a few weeks on account of the fact that my dd was premature and they weren't convinced about my dates last time around.

Anyway, I really hope we see some more bfps (ESP from you, castaway!) on this thread soon, keeping everything crossed for you all xxxx

Ps good luck at the doctors today - keep us posted with what he says xx

That is great news Fleur!! I love the CBFM, it gives me hope we will be back in the game in no time! Very happy for you hun!

Fluer! Thats wonderful news.So pleased for you.How many cycles did it take in total?
I hope you will still be checking in to this thread and keeping us posted?
:dust:

Fleur congratulations!! That's brilliant news hun, I am so pleased for you. So the cbfm is a winner then!! If I don't get my bfp within a few cycles I'm getting one!!

Hope you will stick around and chat to us still and hopefully we will all be joining you with our bfps very soon.

Castaway I hope the drs appointment went well today. Sending lots of :dust: your way for 2 weeks time.

Thanks lovelies, it is very very surreal as I wasn't expecting to see a bfp on the first cbfm cycle but it just goes to show. We were also using preseed which I would def recommend! It took us 4 cycles in total so one longer than last time which I really can't complain about! But I kind of wish I had got the cbfm earlier now! Will definitely be loitering around this thread - you can't get rid of me that easily!!

I really really hope you all get your bfps soon anyway. Where is everyone up to in their cycles? Anyone else testing soon? X

Appt went well ladies I do have serious clots to pass so doctor said that once I have my next AF I will be clear to try again. He wants to give my body time to pass these clots, I saw them on the US too. He was pleased that the pills worked as he said a D&C often takes longer for your body to recover from. He expects my cycle to not be messed up at all so I should have my AF 26/27 days and then we will try again. Hoping to have the same luck as we did the last two times, fingers crossed! Really hoping we get a BFP but believe it or not that will make our due date around the same time as our son Christopher's, something I was trying to avoid. Sigh....life. Hoping and praying our next little one is a sticky one!

On another note I have all the information from both hospitals for our lawyer to review on Christopher's treatment. Fingers crossed they can do something!

Gosh I'm being terrible at keeping up to date at the min- I'm just so busy doing jobs around the house inside and outside!

Fantastic news Fleur on your BFP!! :-D What days did you bd on the cbfm?

Castaway I'm glad you'll be clear to try again after your first period and u deserve all the luck in the world. I hope you catch that sticky bean straight away again after your period.

I'm on cd14 and a peak on the monitor but feel a bit weird this month. I've actually had no ov pain at all which is very unlike me and, to be honest, I just really don't feel in the mood to bd at all this month. We have been anyway a few times and so glad I have the monitor :-)

Castaway I'm glad the appt went well. Sorry to hear that it's going to take a little longer to recover than 2 weeks but its obviously important to heal before ttc again. Sounds like you have a great doctor and fingers x in a matter of weeks you will be having a much nicer ultrasound.

I'm glad you have all the notes now about Christopher and hope your lawyer can help. Sounds like you had such shoddy treatment, nothing will bring him back but maybe you can make the hospital/doctors change things so that it doesn't happen to anyone else xxxx

Twinks, just saw your message, they must've crossed!

I got my first high on cd 13, we dtd on cd14, 16 and then cd19 when I got the first peak (it was lucky as it fell on a saturday so managed to get a nooner -!!- in whilst dd was napping) and that was it. I have read that it's best to dtd on last high or very early on first peak to make sure you don't miss the egg. I think we must've conceived with the nooner session (haha!) as the other occasions were so far before my peak day. If it hadnt happened to be a Saturday I don't reckon I would've got a bfp as we usually don't have time to dtd before work etc!

Best of luck for this month. I was really quite chilled last month as you know and maybe that attitude of not being so anxious about it all helped too? Very easy to say relax though and another thing to actually feel relaxed. Who knows! X

Fleur you are absolutely right, the highs before the peak are SO important. We got pregnant both times by not dtd on peaks! It is important to have the spermies waiting for the egg and the CBFM does that so much better then ovulation sticks! Both times first month on the monitor we got our BFP's with the help of pre-seed :winkwink:

Congratulations Fleur! xxx

Castaway, hope you're feeling okay today but pleased you have a plan. I know for me, whenever life gives me a bump in the road, a plan to get over it always make me feel so much better. It took me 5 mths, 6 cycles last time so I will be here with you when you're ready to try again. Please take care of yourself and rest up. Xx

Hey Ladies! I also got my bfp this morning! I am still in shock as I really didn't expect it to be positive and had gone out for dinner 2x this week and was drinking :dohh: I was sure we were out since I thought I ovulated while away at a conference but I guess DTD the morning before I left paid off! I had just started acupuncture again so I should have known! Got a bfp with DD right after my first session last time!!

I agree with u girls. I think for me dtd every other day before peaks plus peaks was what worked for us last time. Don't think we will have done enough this month but if not onwards and upwards for next month :-) and u just never know we might catch tht sticky bean lol.

Castaway- what happens now you have the results from the hospital? Does the info go across to your lawyers to analyse. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something happens as a result of the findings even as Fleur said to prevent what happened to poor Christopher happening again. I hope you are ok hun xxx

Congratulations to you too Sparky :-D fantastic news xx

Congrats Sparky, great news!!!

Yes Twinks, the lawyer is having his OB look them over. If they agree that life saving measures was not in place they will take the case. Fingers crossed they will! It will not bring our son back but it will remind these doctors that they need to be accountable and do the best they can for their patients!

I am glad to hear there are some BFP's :happydance:

I have a question castaway but if you feel uncomfortable to answer it I understand :flower:
What exactly do you think the doctors did wrong ? I am not saying they didn't do anything wrong . Just asking what's the case about ...
