Anyone trying for #2 around cd 4?

Uhhh ladies I over did it on dinner last night and my visit to the toilet at 2:30 AM was EPIC. Sigh....pregnancy! lol I will take all the discomfort though, just dog tired today couldn't get back to sleep after, I was traumatized!!! :haha:

Phew I've finally caught up on reading quite a few posts :-D Mrs W that's not sad I think it's a fab idea lol- I always lose track of what it is I want to write and always end up missing someone out!
Good news on being in the 2ww Fleur :-) I can't wait to ov again at the end of this month. The cbfm is supposed to be even more accurate second time round so here's hoping lol. Even if not, like you said, at least we know we're dtd around the right point.
Ohh I would love to live by the sea too! My parents live in the New Forest so that's really nice as we get to visit the forest and the beach is only 10 mins away from their house too. My lo is crazy about horses and it all stems from the ponies he sees on the road outside my parents' house :-)
Lol Castaway gotta love pregnancy. Hope the food was yummy and worth it tho ;-)
We had a sneaky cheeky dominos pizza last night as most of the house is packed up and ready to go now. The big move is tomorrow eek! Sad but very excited too.

Castaway- I've just seen your fruit/ veg ticker and can't believe you're 8 weeks already. So cute bubbas the size of a raspberry :-D x

All this talk of food is making me hungry! Afternoon tea - yummy!!!!!!!!!

Castaway that's so funny!!!! I hope the time speeds by to your next scan.

Mrs w sorry you're still poorly :-( hope you feel better soon.

Twinks how exciting you're moving tomorrow!!! Are you excited? Is someone looking after ds for the day? I can't imagine moving with dd at the stage she is at right now!!!! Anyway I hope it all goes well.

We are going to see some pics on Saturday that we had done by a pro photographer - I hope there are some good ones and I don't look too chubby!!!! Maybe I can demand he airbrushed out my muffin top if I do?!! :-)

Also having to see my MIL on Saturday - she can be testing on my patience even on a good day so wish me luck!!!! What is it about in laws?! X

Mrs W.That is strange that we both have the same plans for hubbys 40th.
Fleur- im lucky that i get on quite well with my MIL,she is a handful at times as she likes to be in charge, but in a way its helped me to relinquish control,so we get along quite well.
Twinks-best of luck with moving day
Castaway-seeing that you are now a raspberry really takes me back to when i was pregnant with DD.Its the wonderful feeling of knowing you have reached your goal but also trying to keep a wonderful secret, cant wait to be there again.
:dust:

Hiya, I'm not massively younger than most of you. I'm 30, 31 in the Spring and my OH is 33. Im also not a million miles from you Mrs W. We live on the East Sussex border of Kent. :)

So this month was my first post BCP cycle and we didnt end up dtd because of how ill DH has been. However its been a short cycle - 21 days and I'm now on CD1. I'm excited that I'll get to try a week sooner than I thought! Hope to hear lots of good news soon. Good luck with your move Twinks!

Thank you all, time sure is flying!!

Twinks, I overdid it on pizza! I get so hungry that I eat too much then pay for it :dohh: Best of luck on your move tomorrow!!!

Baby dust to all! :dust::dust:

Castaway- yum!! Pizza!! I too suffer from having eyes bigger than my belly, whether preg or not!!!

Dogtanian - you're lucky getting on with your mil. Mine is a funny piece of work - she can be so manipulative. Thankfully dh is finally cottoning on to this (I won't bore you with the details!) so at least we are more on the same page when it comes to her than we used to be. At the end of the day, whether I like her or not, she is dh mother and dd grandmother and I just have to get on with it. Some days are tough though!!!!

Twinks - hope moving day is going well! At least it's not raining today!

Notnic - hurrah for cd1 so you can properly start ttc. Are you doing opk's? Temping? Or just seeing what happens? Hope your dh is all recovered now and up to the job again!!!! ;-)

Xx

That's not far notnic! Good news that you get to try sooner than you thought this cycle! I hate all the waiting I've got o patience ha ha!

I hope moving is going well twinks! Enjoy the new house x

Aw thanks guys. All went well and we're in. The cats and dog are quite unsettled tonight. One of our cats is happy go lucky and doesn't mind going anywhere but out other car gets stressed easily. She's walking round the house in circles meowing so hopefully she settles soon. All went well and there was no rain Fleur- yay! Tomorrow onwards the forecast says rain so I think we were lucky! Love our new house :-D Thanks for all the well wishes for today- luckily we had removal men and they were fab so it all went smoothly and we were in by 3pm.

Awww twink glad it went went. The cats will soon settle in once they get used to thier new surroundings. I've got 2 cats too and have moved them a few times. I hope things aren't too chaotic for you!

I'm poorly  typical when I'm hoping to ov this week that I've got a horrible cold, cough, feeling rough! Sexy!!

Who here does opks? I'm thinking of using them, shall I start now I'm on cd10? Do I poas morning and evening? I've got a load of ic so might as well x

Hi girls! Twinks hope you're all settled in and the dogs and cats are ok too! Has ds settled ok in his new room etc?

Mrs w sorry you feel rough! So typical! Hope you recover for o day - still lots of time! I am on my first month using the clear blue fertility monitor - I've never used opk's or anything before and I have to say I really liked it. It is pricey though :-( I reckon if you started opk's now mrs w that would be fine. My cbfm made me realise I'm ovulating 3 days later than I thought so definitely a useful thing as we were burning out from dtd around cd16 before this month which explains a few things!!!! I feel loads better informed about my cycle already.

Well I'm expecting af to turn up any minute - currently on cd28 and feeling very very crampy and like af is about to start any minute :-( I feel pretty calm though so don't mind too much if she does turn up although it will mean I have a stupidly short lp if she arrives today/tomorrow which is a bit of a worry...

i just had a lovely week off with my dd and dh - we had so much fun! Made me realise how lucky I am already. Remind me of this when I come on here moaning about the witch turning up!

How is everyone else doing?

X

Aw sorry to hear you've been unwell mrs W there seems to be a lot of bugs doing the rounds at the minute where we live :-( that time of year. I much prefer the summer :-) although I'm a big, massive, huge fan of Christmas lol! I hope I don't offend anyone by talking about Xmas in October lol but I'm a big sucker for the Xmas period. Particularly now with lo! It'll be his first Xmas where he will show a lol more awareness- well at least for playing with the cardboard boxes he he! Can't wait. Does anyone know already what pressies you might get for lo?

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Fleur as cramps could be good. Hope AF stays away for you. I moan so much around AF time as I get soo much cramping pain. A lot of my friends get zero period pain and it makes me very jealous lol.

As for me I'm cd 8 and I think my highs should start on cd11 so not too far away. I'm currently a low on the monitor. I'm pretty chilled about it this month- think the house move is distracting me lots lol!

Aw thanks guys the animals are settling really well now. The cars are desperate to get outside but we're keeping them in for a while longer yet. Our neighbour owns a Bengal I think they're called but its a gorgeous pale silver with the tiger type stripes. So pretty! Lo has taken it all in his stride and is sleeping like a trooper here which is great. He has always been very used to sleeping at night in grandparents cots or when we've been away on holiday do he probably think waheyy another holiday lol x

I LOVE Christmas too twinks and wholeheartedly embrace talking about it in October!!!! We took dd to a garden centre last week that had a massive Xmas section - I came away feeling so festive! :-) haven't thought yet about Christmas pressies as dd birthday is between now and then, so hard having birthdays close to Xmas! One of my friends sons has his birthday on Christmas Eve which I always think is a bit sad for him!

That's exciting you're close to o time twinks! When does your cbfm ask for sticks on cycle 2?

Tbh the cramps aren't terrible so i cant moan too much but enough to notice and keep running to the loo on knicker watch!!!! I hate that - when you wipe and then your heart is thumping in your chest as you check the toilet paper - ugh! Or is it just me?! My dh got up to go to the loo this morning and I thought to myself - god you just go to the loo don't you! No cm checking, no toilet paper inspection and all the rest of it! Men are lucky :-)

Actually talking about going to the loo - have you guys seen that mumsnet thread about the penis beaker?!! Had me in absolute stitches! Worth a look if anyone is having a bad day!

Ah I love Bengal cats - sooo pretty! Glad everyone is nicely settled in anyway :-)

Xx

Hello! ive had a lovely couple of days celebrating my hubbys 40th birthday.
Im now CD24 and ive finally got my first blaring positive ovualtion test since i started trying! Had loads of EWCM today which made me take the test and also a big temp drop this morning,so fingers crossed this is it!
Glad to hear everyone is progressing nicely
:dust:

Ahh the penis beaker!! Made my weekend that did!! My personal highlight was 'what I'd someone comes over and makes a drink using the beaker?!' Awkward !! It's happened before when someone has grabbed themselves a fork from my kitchen and since they are already eating when I notice, I then can't bring myself to tell them that's the cat fork!!!!!!!!

Ooh I love Christmas!! I am so glad we have it to look forward to at this time of year as I hate winter, I'm a real summer person. But I can't wait to put the tree up and I'm so excited to see what Freya makes of it all this year! She will be 18m by Xmas so will be more aware and understanding more! Can't wait ! What does everyone do at Xmas?

Twinks it's hard keeping the cats in when they are desperate to get out isn't it! One of mine is climbing the walls by 2 days inside so I never manage long!

Omg fleur I know what you mean about checking the loo paper. When I was preg I was obsessive about checking every time I wiped as I was so scared I'd see blood.

Feeling shattered and my head hurts from coughing & blowing my nose so much. I need to get better so I can start bding!!!!

Happy ovulating dogtanian!! Hope hubs enjoyed his bday? How was afternoon tea? X

Afternoon tea was wonderful thanks,we were stuffed afterwards!
I absolutely love Christmas as well,i always have, but once you have a baby i think it becomes that little bit more magical.God knows what my DD will think of the tree this year, all she does at the mo is climb on everything and jump off it,so we will probably find her swinging from a branch!
:dust:

Mrs. W I too conceived both my children with the CBFM. I found out I ovulate as early as CD8!!!

Also the first time we conceived I was on Mucinex to thin out mucous as I had a cold! Apparently the active ingredient in it helps thin out cervical mucous!
