Anyone used OPK test to indicate + HPT test?

I am holding out taking a pregnancy test... (I promised my husband) lol But I wanted to take an ovulation test, just because of that need to test.

Has anyone ever used an OPK several days after ovulation, got a positive or almost positive result and ended up with a BFP?

Or any debate over the OPK being able to predict pregnancy as well?

I always get a positive o test a few days before af is due when I'm pg.

My opk was a blaring positive before I got a positive hpt with my first pregnancy. I had positives opks from 6dpo.
This time my opks are negative but I've had a positive hpt.
I'm not sure if it depends on different brand opks and the sensitivity.

Seems like it can go either way. I am not planning on trying it, was just curious with anyone's experience on it.

I think before O and after O my second line on the Ovulation tests are Non existent. I would probably read to much into if I actually did it lol. I plan to test Saturday!! 10Dpo then.

A positive OPK is what clued me in to test with my first..she's 17.. I'm an old mom lol.

After becoming pregnant, my OPK did not become dark for a few weeks. HPTs are the only way to go when it comes to determining pregnancy.
