Hi all!
Last night I posted about using sippy cups, because Mairi's intake was a bit funny... Anyway, I've been using Aptamil 3 for a few weeks now and I've found that Mairi seems to get really bad (farty) wind that seems to cause her pain. Also, I find when I make up the bottle, that the actual formula seems really powdery and doesn't mix as well as the Aptamil 1. I'm quite tempted to change her back as I only changed to Follow On because she was waking at night and it hasn't made a blind bit of difference! I'm a bit low and frustrated at the moment as she just seems so grumpy with me at the moment and I don't know if the change in milk is why .
Sorry to seem like a pain.
:hugs: to all x

follow on is thicker than stage 1. I use a baby spoon to stir it. Did u try to give her something filling like cereals or a banana before bedtime? It takes some time to settle. If u think she was better on stage 1, there is no harm to switch back hun.

This growth spurt at 9 mnths is nasty. Omar is sleeping through those days, but he keeps turning & moving, & is waking up several times for his dummy or few sips of water. Now it's 2 am here, & I can hear his voice through the monitor. I think this is the 5th dummy run since he went to bed at 11 pm.

We're on Aptamil 3. Ethan didn't have bad wind at all - I wonder if the wind is definately related to the formula.
It is more powdery but seems very similar when made up. I shake the bottle now (I used to have to swish it when Ethan was younger as he suffered with colic). Aptamil is the least filling of the formulas though.

Why not try Goodnight milk? It's basically milk with a little cereal?
