Anyone using Tommee tippee bottles?

I've had no problems at all with TT Closer to nature bottles, LO still has 2 bottles (morning and night).

Mine are fantastic! Never leaked, Logan brings his wind up amazingly. He did get bit of nipple confusion as he's combi fed, but that was my fault, now he takes book and bottle great.

I used them with DS1 and now with DS2 and have never had any problems.

But I do think different bottles work better with different babies. DS1 struggled to feed and we tried loads of different bottles and tests but the TT stage 1 ended up the best.

So after the past week I have decided I think it's how lo positions his tounge. I have at least one of a few different bottles trying to figure out what works best for him an it seems that at some point with them all he leaks loads out the corners of his mouth. It's almost like the first ounce or 2 it takes him getting use to the nipple and then he does pretty good.
The best out of the ones we are trying are dr brown and playtex vent air. But still even with both of those he has off times where it leaks loads out of his mouth then also.

I don't know what to do. I've tried about all the bottles there is.

Anyone have any other suggestions??

I've got :
Dr brown
Tommee tippee
Avent (original)
Simulac
Playtex vent air
Gerber

cbass929 - could it be his swallow reflex rather than his tongue? could he need slower teats? i think dr browns do a preemie teat that might suit speed wise even?

alternatively could he be just taking rests, the milk will still flow then and that will cause the dribble out? if so then a medela calma (expensive but you use just one teat) would be good as that works much like breast feeding - baby has to create a vacuum for the milk to flow, so when they rest nothing comes out at all - even if you turn the teat upside down.

He's on a level 1 slow flow with all the nipples. I can handle te dribble out. Just when he's eats by the time he's done his bib and a burp cloths is wet all over. It's almost impossible not to get his clothes wet every feeding.

He goes back to the dr for a weight check again so I think I'm going to see what his dr thinks.
I bf at first and pumped some and when he used the medela bottles that come with the pump and he did good with them. No mess...

I use them and they've been fine. She only leaks out the side when tired, she has TT and LT as well so probably affects it. I really like the bottles :)

I use them and have some problems with the comfort milk and teat sizes, but my babe won't take milk from any other bottle!! Very annoying, but at 10 pounds for 6 bottles in Asda I think they were the cheapest we could have bought!

I've used the closer to nature bottles with my LO since she was 5 weeks. I had MAM bottles to start with but they leaked all the time. We also had Dr Browns but they didn't help with her reflux and was too much faff.
I guess everyones different and so are our LO's but next time round ill start with TT again.

I used the closer to nature bottles with DD and they were fab will be using the same this time round too.

I ended up taking the 2 unopened packs back to the store after trying them for 2 weeks it just hasnt gotten any better. We bought dr browns like I used wth DD and couldn't be happier. Wish I had just bought them in the beginning they were cheaper too!!
