Hey everyone!

Well I never thought I'd be back here yet!

Mr Moo and I became parents to Sophie 9 months ago today. She's everything we dreamed of, but recently we've had "the talk" - yep, when do we try for Sophies little brother or sister? Mr Moo had a 5 year age gap between himself and his brother, and it wasn't good so he'd prefer a smaller age gap...
He also wanted a house extension but has decided that we can't wait for that. He's 37, I'll be 36 in December. He's been thinking about how risks to mum and babies are increased the older mums are, and so we should start now.
So yesterday I came off the pill, and hopefully my cycle comes back pretty quick like last time. So in January we're good to go! I missed out on a few Christmas drinks, fancy cheeses and pate last Christmas so Mr Moo is allowing me to enjoy that this year and then the fun will really begin!

Anyone else starting around the same it would be great to cheer you on!

I had about 3 or 4 bump buddies last time and it's great to share everything with someone :)

I'll be trying for my first in January. OH and I have set a wedding date (we're eloping) for our anniversary in February, so that trip could end up a "Babymoon" as well as being our honeymoon.
I have started charting, and we are both taking multivitamins with folic acid (I found a source that said it was good for him to take too, and it really can't hurt).
Also, congrats on your lovely little girl

Ill be ttc #1 in December /January.I start my last pill packet on Saturday then we week be ttc although we might have to delay because my job is a bit of a mess

Really hoping to be TTC in January also :) fingers crossed for us all!

aww lovely! im ttc may 2015 but just wanted to say hi!
so exciting that you came off the pill already! i hope when you come to ttc your time is short, and that the wait goes fast! :flower:

Thanks ladies, and great to hear from you!

@dirtywordplay: congratulations on our wedding plans, a :bfp: would make a wonderful wedding gift to husband and wife

@spicyorange: fingers crossed for you that things get better with work so you don't have to delay things!

@MummyKP: fingers crossed for you too, will this be your first?

@callmedan: we'll save some :dust: for you for May! Hope you're not kept waiting too long!

We decided to stop the pill mid-pack. I was put on these instead of my usual due to Breastfeeding and I don't think they suited me. I've been more snappy with Mr Moo, get emotional over things far too easily afnd despite the Dr saying that with these pills I probably wouldn't bleed, I actually bled for 6 weeks, kind of. Not full on menstrual bleeding but there was always something there when you wipe, if you know what I mean (when discussing TTC & pregnancy there's no such thing as TMI!!:haha:)
So GOOD RIDDANCE, pill!!

We are ttc next year what ever happens, Iv waited long enough, still hoping for December. My journal has all the boring detail of your interested

Go spicyorange go! :happydance:

Everyone says if you wait for "the right time" then it'll never happen.

Just had a chemical last month, but wtt again until January since we didn't take it so well. (Hubs and I pretty much both had a meltdown crying week long mess over it)

Yeah it'll be our first :) we recently got married and I have always loved children and been broody! Hopefully over Christmas/new year we will start TTC :) I am very excited!!

:hugs: to Luckybug. So sorry to hear about your chemical. The friends I made on here when TTC with Sophie have had their losses too, some multiple, but they all have had their forever babies now. Wishing you lots of luck for the New Year.

MummyKP, congratulations on your marriage! I feel your excitement for TTC! So how are you going to play it? Just NTNP for now or full on charting/temping?

For us, I'll probably go down the charting/temping/POAS route again. I got quite nerdy about it and found it really interesting. First of all we tried just NTNP but nothing happened.. I stopped taking the pill in the July, changed tack and started charting etc in about October, and we conceived beginning of May. I can remember my first positive test being on may 12th, a few days before AF was due.
I'll have to try and revive my Fertility Friend account!

This is what we think although getting pregnant then getting made redundant might not be the best timing, I'll be 28 in Jan an Dh is 35 so time to crack on with it. This time last year we delayed a year, I'm not doing it again, hopefully it's December but it well be early in the new year if not

Well it might not be the best timing, is a redundancy definite?

Got say though I don't see it as irresponsible as someone having a baby (after actually trying) when they're not working, in lots of debt and complaining that they can't get any benefits until their baby arrives, like someone I know. I won't jump on my soapbox on that one though! I'll never get off otherwise!

I hope everything works out xXx

I'm def. Being made redundant from my current role in April but very much going to have something sorted before then, even in the next few weeks. Dh has a decent job so we can support ourselves if I am unemployed although it would be very tight.

Hey ladies :hi:, guess I'll join you since I'll also be trying in Jan 2015.

Mine is a mandatory wait due to my 4th loss being a partial molar pregnancy. Will spare you the details, but basically been on a 6 month wait to try--doctor's orders. Looking forward to getting back on the horse!

I'm waiting on testing being done on the 16th but the plan so far is the last week of December first week of January since I should be ovulating. then try again at the end of the month praying we get a hit on the first shot. We really need a baby to fill this emptiness in our house and finally complete our family

I'm so sorry for your losses MrsSmith. Seems there's a few of us here with sad stories. Hopefully 2015 will be our turn for rainbows.

Well spicyorange, if that was the only thing giving you slight doubts about when to start, it sounds like you're sorted to me! Lots of luck!!

Hey confuzion! Sorry to hear about your losses, best of luck for January!

Sorry MummaMoo, I have only just seen this!

Going to start by just seeing how it goes. I don't want to get too hooked up on it, but I know what I'm like when it comes to getting something I want! I have downloaded a few ovulation apps and am considering getting OPKs, but I don't want to become too obsessive unless it doesn't happen after a couple of months. I am very worried about having problems to conceive, so I know I will stress if it doesn't happen within the first two or three months! Lol.

We have an 8 month old.. I think we are aiming for a jan start for number two :)

EDIT: my third ! his second....
