Appointment on due date

The hospital have sent me an appointment card for 10am on my due date. Is this normal? No one in my family has had this before. x

With any luck you wont need to go to it, but i dont know if its normal, sorry.

I don't really know. It's at the hospital though and I see my midwife at the doctors. :S

It may an automatic appointment to check all is well and book an induction date if necessary. The automatic dates are all done well in advance these days...I got my 20wk scan date when I was 9wks

Ahh hopefully it's that then and not because something is up. It's just odd they sent me the card with no explaination or anything :S x

Yeah, thats probably what it is, ive already got my 36 weeks appointment booked to go and book my section.

My last pregnancy hun , At 25 weeks they gave me an appointment for my due date , When i asked why ..They said to have a chat with me , And make my appointment ready for when iam 6 days overdue for my sweep etc . xxx .
