Approaching the 1 year mark...

Went to the dr today to see about regulating my hormones and getting bac on trac with regular cycles.
She prescribed BC, but I looked at the reviews on that type and its AWFUL.
I just started using progesterone cream and hope its works to regulate me.
The depo had put me in sort of a "perimenopausal" state/
Blah. I'm hoping to be back on track and ready to go in a month or two.
I am trying to be patient.

My girlfriend had to go back on BC in order to regulate her cycles.. she said she was on it for three months.. and got pregnant right after.. so you never know. Hopefully the progesterone cream does the trick for you~! Keeping my fingers crossed. I used my digital ovulation stick today.. I love it! I know you said you didnt really have a hard time reading the regular ones.. but.. i could never tell if the test line was dark enough.. or just right.. etc. This was perfect.. not ovulating anytime soon according to my stick! I tested extra early.. I know I usually ovulate around day 15.. and i'm day 11 .. I just want to make sure I catch it!

Bummer about no bfp.. and no AF!! I bet you wish she would just show up already.. so you can start ttc again!! Hopefully you get an answer either way soon!!

I did get pregnant once 2006 , had all tests im fine o/h high SE.

so wtf ???so heartbreaking i feel such a failure asi watch everyone else with push chairs and baby seats in cars so gets me down.

no worries about venting.. . we are here to support one another. This is certainly a safe place to vent.. we understand what you are going through. Sorry to hear about your loss in 2006.. heartbreaking.

It does suck watching everyone else get pregnant... push strollers... car seats.. etc. I get down once in awhile when I see things like that as well. My hubby and I always look at each other and say.. " aww.... I want a baby".

I go through my ups and downs.. . saying to myself.. " it will happen when the "timing" is right".. or.... " God has a plan"... those words only help temporarily because if I really think about it... the timing HAS been right... for many months... so ... it's not in God's plan for me to have children yet? Doesnt seem fair! I hate when people try to make the situation better by saying things like that. And it's usually people who already have a child or children.. ugh! Ok.. that was my little vent for today.

Hang in there.. and I'll do the same!! I'm usually not this negative or down about things.. just caught me on a tough week!

Im going to try a vitex/progesterone cream blend. I suggest you try progesterone cream, it sometimes works really well for girls with PCOS. Which I MAY or may NOT have... didnt get any answers.
AF came today with awful pain. But I'm glad she's hear. Its about time... I guess.
I just got a basal thermometer. Do you BBT? Whats a good online site to help me understand it?

Sorry to hear about AF.. but glad you can get started on preparing for next month now!

I used to take my basal temp.. but stopped after seeing the infertility specialist.. he said since my charts consistently showed me ovulating between days 15-17 that I wouldn't need to continue. I found it to be helpful the first few months.. then it became a drag for me.

You can also link your chart to your profile here. I found it to be very helpful when I was charting.You have to be consistent with charting though... like every morning before you get out of bed. The chart will show you when you've ovulated... it doesnt track ovulation before it happens.. but.. you will begin to see a trend.. when you get a nice dip in your temps... that usually means a rise is coming.. which means ovulation. Take a peek and let me know if you have questions!

Sorry to hear that AF got you!! Darn bizatch!!!! I know what you mean about being excited to see the infertility specialist to get some answers!!! My husband and I were the same way. i actually cried my way into the infertility dept a bit sooner than i should have... they usually dont like to see you until 1 full yr of ttc... I think I was at month 8 and thought I spotted a problem in my charting with my luteal phase. Long story short... cried my way into the dept... they did testing and we have "unexplained infertility". booo!! Such a tough diagnosis because you dont really know what to work on! My DH has mild sperm issues... so we took a break from treatment while he takes proxeed for 3 months. We have a month and a half to go before we go back to treatments. Hopefully I'll get a BFP before then!

Keep us posted on your upcoming appt!! Fingers crossed for good news!! There will be tons of tests to come!!

My sister had her ultrasound today, found out she's having a little girl. My first neice.
I can't bbt chart anymore, because the damn thermometer I got is SUPER inaccurate. I got clearblue o sticks to help, but that doesn't really tell me if I'm REALLY ovulating or not. It is especially importent that I know because if I use my progesterone cream BEFORE ovulation, it will trick my body into thinking that I have already ovulated and that I'm pregnant, so I won't ovulate at all that month. So RAWRRR.

i have been TTC for 1 and a half year.. haven't got pregnant even once
my haubby had a some motility issues, so we had spend 3-4 months in the treatment... after that i just found out that my periods are no longer regular..so went to doc and found out that i have harmonal issues...so now im on my third month of oral progesterone.. i've heared that a lot of women have fallen 0pregnant rite away after this treatment...now lets see wats there for me...
also im a bit worried because im going out of country for 3-4 months, away from husband...so only got 2 cycles to try before that .. fingers crossed!

Welcome Shiara! This is a great place to vent!! My DH also has some mild motility issues.. if you dont mind me asking.. what treatment did your hubby do to increase his motility ? The docs here in California suggested proxeed... it's a natural powder drink that is supposed to increase sperm count as well as motility. We'll see. He is on month 2.. one more month to go before we start infertility treatments again. I'm hoping we get pregnant before that though!

I have heard of a lot of women getting pregnant shortly after being put on hormones as well... good luck!!! Hopefully you will get your bfp within the next 2 months!! Are you tracking your Ovulation?

How exciting... a little girl is on the way! My sister is hoping for a girl as well... as she already has 3 boys! The ovulation sticks will tell you within 12-36 hours when you are supposed to ovulate.. don't they? Temping only tells you after you've ovulated... it takes a few months to learn your cycle and to be able to predict when you will ovulate with temping anyways.. right?
Do you know around what day you ovulate? You can do the ovulation sticks.. hope for a positive LH surge ... then use the cream after your predicted ovulation date.. will that work? I've never used the cream before... just those nasty ass suppositories! blah!

Sorry I havent been on for a while. my computer has been down. I've been using progesterone cream, and its really helped to regulate my cycles. I used the digital Ov sticks from clearblue, and got a lh surge at 14 days, (how odd, right? I mean WHO EVER gets Ov on the typical 14 days slingo), so learned I have a pretty good luteal phase. I am hoping I didnt use progesterone cream too early though. I got a smiley face two days in a row, and I wanted to use the cream, so I tested the third day and got a blank face, so thought it was safe to use it. So I hope I had already O'd.... So when you ARE ovulating, do you get a smiley face as well? Or do you just got one with the LH surge, and then when you actually O, you're LH surge goes away? Grr, I had such a awesome chance and I might have blown it!! I should have waited two days...
