April Mummies 2011

Bernina, my output is generally an ounce less at each pumping through the day unless I'm pumping late then I get a little bump in output.

Isis is a finger sucker. She pretty much doesn't use her pacifier anymore. They use one at daycare but we really don't at home. I'm worried about how to get her to stop too Gem! I don't really like the look of a baby with a pacifier but it's so much easier to break them of it

Isis will get her second set of shots tomorrow. We have her 4 month checkup tomorrow. I'm excited to see how much she weighs. On our home scale she's around 14 lbs.

Hugs amethyst!
My bill and SIL ha their baby just after midnight (on her due date! Apparently it runs in her family o be born on your due date lol) so Rosie's cousin Gracie is here. I can't wait to go see her. DH went last night but I stayed home bc I was planning on going to work but my mom said she needed a sitter and wouldn't be able to watch Rosie. Ugh. I'm now stuck watching my brother. Also Rosie still isn't sleeping from getting her shots on Friday. Up 3x last night. I am not used to this every 3 hrs business as she has always slept at least 4 hr stretches

Yeah hes just a little guppy, i still havent moved him im really screamish about things like that. We had another one die saturday too a japanese fighter. xx

Thanks ladies, it means a lot that I can say what I'm feeling here. Feels like everyone is away on their jollies!

Rang the hospital and put my foot down with a firm hand, scan is now Wednesday night. Have to admit that I felt guilty before the operation and felt selfish for what he was going to have to get done, now I feel just bloody awful, not to mention scared. Poor thing, I'm looking after him the best that I can but it's so difficult right now.

Little guy finally started rolling back to front properly yesterday but now wakes in the night and instead of letting me know he is awake, he rolls on his tummy well and truly wakes himself up and screams the house down. Then takes forever to get back down again because he is wide awake from being so upset. Silly little munchkin.

Hope you are all OK, I will catch up at some point, promise.

Oh Hun! I'm so sorry! Sending you, your Mum and your family lots of love and healing thoughts.

Oh Stefanie! I'm so sorry! :hugs::hugs: was this from the body scan? if when do you get those results? I know it's tough but try to keep positive! We're here for you!

Emmys - Big hugs to you and your family. xx
I hope she gets it all sorted though... dont forget people can come through it!
xxxxxx

^^WSS! My MIL was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian and kidney cancer 3 years ago. She has since survived 2 brain tumors. One positive of this is we know we need to spend as much time with her as we can. Even though it's not something I would wish to happen, we now appreciate every minute we have with her.

It was the results from the full body scan...Its called BAC(Bronchioloalveolar carcinoma). We dont know much else at this time. I think im numb or in shock or something by the news but i am trying to keep it all together for my mom. She isnt taking the news of "cancer" very well.

Im such an emotional eater....I lost 20lbs and now im gonna put it all back on!! I have ate non-stop today!! Its my way of coping with things!

To EVERYONE- Thank you for all of your support!!

I'm so sorry to hear that Emmy'sMommy, I've got everything crossed for your mum to come through this :hugs:

Emmys I am so sorry for the diagnosis and what you and your family must be going through. We're all here for you in whatever way we can. :hugs:

Danielle, I get about an ounce less each pump too!

Caro, Lizzie flat out refused bottles from DH and I and would only take from my mom and dad. Now that she's with them 3 days a week she'll take a bottle from anyone so just know that it does get better. For the most part I dont think the type of bottle makes all that much difference (we tried a ton) but it may be worth trying a wide mouth or one specifically made to be like breast. We use Born Free and my good friend had luck with BreastFlow. Her daughter refused bottles from anyone, even daycare but finally gave in to those. It also helped her to be sat upright and facing away from caregiver. Good luck!

Amethyst good job on getting the earlier scan!! Totally understand your feeling of guilt but please dont blame yourself! His experience was far from the norm with that procedure. You're doing an amazing job taking care of him and the family and he's very lucky to have you.
