Ahh I feel like shit lol.
I feel weird... I keep getting severe headaches which can get so bad that I cant stand and just kinda curl into a ball with my hands on my head till it goes. Keep going really dizzy and stuff too and my eyesight keeps going blurry.
Also found a lump on my head so not sure if thats causing it or what.
If it doesnt go soon though then Ill have to go get checked out I think. Cant be ill while being a parent!

Health Visitor came today and pissed me off lol. She asked if I was coping and I said yes and then she was like "hmm thats not a very convincing yes maybe you need parenting classes" so now shes refferring me to the teenage intergration who will give me parenting classes :/
I dont fecking need them! Im fine. I was just tired before because I hadnt long woken up and now shes trying to say Im not coping when I am!

Ollie is fine though anyways. Hes started giggling and stuff a bit now and I loveee it!

Could be your iron gems. I was severely anemic with extreme headaches this went on for a year after having a miscarriage. I ended up self diagnosing myself on googleand got an rx for iron tablets. May not be that but defender checked out as like u say it's no fin being I'll whilst looking after a baby!!!!

Hi everyone

I have only just found this thread so sorry for late reply.

My little princess Ruby was born 12th April at 10.40am after only 9 hours of labour from the first twinge! She weighed 6lb 9ozs. She was born via ventouse in the end as her heartrate was dipping slightly.
Ruby is our little miracle after sadly losing Ellie Mae in 2009 and i cherish every minute i spend with her. She looks so much like Ellie so it feels like there will always be a part of her in Ruby.

I hope everyone is getting on ok with their little ones and not too sleep deprived! I will put a pic up as soon as i get 5 mins to go on the computer.

Hello Ladies

Only just getting a chance to really sit down and come on BnB!

My little princess was born on 17th April weighing 6lb 2 1/2oz at 8am, natural delivery. I laboured at home until I was 10CM! (Didn't realise this at the time), she is an absolute joy, I love every minute of motherhood, she feeds and sleeps like a gem now.

Would love to catch up with all the April mummies I miss you lot!

BIT ABOUT MY BIRTH

i had my son on the 7th april at 7.05 after 7hrs of labour lol all the 7s
i got put under the consultant at the last week due 2 low fluid i got took in on the 6th 2 start me off was given a 2nd pessary and that kicked started it
the 1st part of labour was horrible as i was on a ward with 3 other women and really i would have felt better on my own as i was in pain lol i called them 2 check me casue i needed pain killers or something at this point i was 4cm at this point 12ish and was taken down 2 labour room these 7hrs went by so fast it was weird. i had 2 be cut twice when pushing junior out and this was the worse part 4 me jeeezzz the ring of fire alright
junior had the cord round his neck but he was fine when born. when he was handed 2 me he just looked up at me like ahh there u r mummy i was lookn 4 u was soo cute then he screamed a bit lol

i cant put in2 words how much i adore him but i no u ladies will no what i mean
those chubby wee cheeks and when he sticks his wee bum out when i hold him just make me all mussy inside hes just soo perfect
hes a gr8 baby tho has a bit of colic it kills me when hes crying and i cant help him all i can do is cuddle him rub his wee back and talk 2 him
would really like 2 hear frm RIRI and Nobbie u guys were due the same day as me and sorry i cant mind ur name but up display pic was a wee cute pony

Ollie has his scan today for his sacred dimple thing.
I dont know if Ive told you all about him having that yet actually, but yeah he has it. I thought it was a second bumhole but apparently its not haha!
Theyve told me he could have spina bifda whatever that is.

Theyve told me he could have spina bifda whatever that is.

Google sacral dimple Hun, I was born with spina bifida oculta and i'm absolutely fine! It's actually really common XX

Hi eveyone,

We had our 6 week check with the hv yesterday. LO is up to 8lb 6 - which I'm pleased with. She's climbed from 2nd percentile to 9th.

The only thing I'm a little concerned with is her belly button. We had noticed it stuck out - I thought it might mean she had an outie. Turns out it is an unbilical hernia.

She said they don't do anything for them and it should go in her first year.

MrsC I've never heard of umbilical hernias. Hope it's not painful for your LO.

Gem, hope you get some answers quick about Ollie's dimple.

Think Rex was having a growth spurt last 2 days. Was at my wits end! He wanted to be constantly on the boob & didn't sleep in the day at all. Nightmare! Luckily I think it's settled now as he slept well last night & we've had an ok day so far. FXd!

Started to express enough for one feed a day so DH can give Rex a feed. Tried him with one of our bottles for first time yesterday & he took it really well & had no problems with boob after so hopefully it's a good sign that giving him the odd bottle of expressed milk will work out. It needs to as we have a wedding to go to in 2 wks & there's no children so my mum is having Rex so need to know he'll be ok for a good few hours. Don't think I'll want to leave him though! x

Alex has the same hun, and i thought it was a 2nd bum hole too but was told by the midwife its nothing to worry about so long as his legs seem to be working fine , fx'ed its nothing hun, they're not even investigating Alex's further! xx

Ollie's been for his scan. They didnt really tell me anything still though just said to wait for an appointment to come through to discuss it.
The scan lady was horrible lol. She kept barging past me and then she asked me to hold his legs still so I did and then she said to the assisstant lady "you hold him down please since mum clearly doesnt have any experience."
What is it with people treating me as though Im not capable lately! Argh!

I might be going the docs myself later. I keep having funny turns and I just really dont feel right. I keep getting those really bad headaches still and my eyesight keeps going blurred and today and last night my left arm keeps going tingly and numb. And last night I got up to give Ollie a feed and my leg just gave way beneath me and I fell :/

Oh no gem! You do need to go to the Dr! I've been having dizzy spells when I go from sitting to standing and the nurse at my appt said itw as b/c my iron is low (then she tested it ans said it was perfect). Then they said it should just go away on it's own.
Also- hope Ollie is fine- sure he will be though

Sazzle- gotta LOVE the expressed boobjuice! I've been trying to always have at least 1 good sizes bottle in the fridge. DH loves to feed Rosie and I was so happy when she took the bottle like a pro!
Also- sometimes Rosie WILL NOT SLEEP and will be on the boob ALL THE TIME and sometimes she's just not even eating- comfort sucking bc she wont sleep! So I've noticed if I lay down with her and give her the boob she falls asleep pretty good and fast- IDK if you wanna try that but it has been working wonders for us!

Went on a date with DH last night Left Rosie with MIL for about 3 hours. she gave her 2 small bottles (I said to combine the 3 storage things I had and give 3.5 or 4oz bottles- she gave 2.5oz bottles) and commented on how often she eats. Umm - yea- she's not getting enough food! but she was happy when we picked her up. I sure did miss her since that was the longest we have left her but it was nice to get out with DH and THOR was pretty good

I know this hasnt got anything to do with the baby but I need help lol.
The lump on my head where the pain is coming from is a weird colour and growing and my leg keeps going numb every so often and more often now.
Anyone know what this could be?
