Psssh! I wish I got something like that to encourage weight gain! I hope I get weighed at my dr appt today! They are checking my incision to make sure infection is gone. But last time I got weighed I had on big boots and a big sweater (took those off while prego) and was at my starting weight from the beginning of my pregnancy

i ate far too much this weekend and i'm pretty sure my AF is coming as i've managed to gain almost 5 lbs in 2 days! not to mention im breaking out again. can't wait for my appt next monday to get myself back on bc so i don't have to deal with this anymore.

**tmi alert** just went to the bathroom and wiped a HUGE amt of clear/cloudy discharge...any ideas? anyone else?

I think Ive come on for the first time since before pregnancy... but its not even been 6 weeks since birth yet so idk really what it is. Plus its more brown than red (sorry tmi) and very light. But all my bleeding from the birth stopped like 2 weeks ish ago now I think. Any ideas? :/

Haha seems like everyone is on a diet!
Ive gone on one too although Ive gone back to my old ways of "forgetting" to eat. Ive always had this horrible fear of getting fat, even before pregnancy and its come back worse than ever since Ive lost the bump so been living off 1 meal a day, if that.

gem, it was 5w 3d i think after having toby that i started getting brown light discharge... that lasted 3 days then it came on really heavily for 2 days and then went like a normal period until yesterday when it got lighter like its about to finish. fingers crossed! im bored of bleeding now lol

I havent had my first AF since having Ava, but i have a feeling it will show up while we are on vacation in 3 weeks..lol

Im not really dieting yet either since im back to pre-pregnancy weight and it took me almost a year to get to my that weight by dropping 50lbs!

I cant decide what type of BC i wanna use....The Merina IUD or the Depo shot?? What do you all think?? lol

ive had the depo and so far so good. my mum has the coil and is having it removed because shes had nothing but problems xx

I had the depo before i had Ava and didnt have any problems until it came time to ttc #2 and then it took us 18months to conceive, but i dont plan on anymore kids so i just dont know..lol

what are the potential side effects of the shot and how long does it last?
my gp prescribed me cerozette (sp?) but i've only ever heard bad things about it so i'm holding off taking it for now and just using good old fashioned rubbers!

eugh contraception, i haven't missed that! i was always rubbish at taking the pill but have totally got used to not using condoms and don't wanna have anything too perminant like the injection or anything as might wanna ttc 2nd in not so many years!

Thats how I feel. I hate using condoms, but I don't want anything that will give us any problems TTC #2

I was on cerazette before I got pregnant and I will be straight back on it when I can - it was bloody brilliant - and got pregnant the first real cycle after stopping taking it too. No periods, no side effects, must have been designed by a woman

I want a hysterectomy lol. I seriously dont want anymore kids. Dont think theyd give me one though with being so young. Think Ill still ask though tbh.

Dana, Ollie used to do that but mainly when he was lying down. Does she lie down when she pukes? If she does then try tilting her moses basket or whatever shes lying in just a little bit It helped Ollie loads and now he barely pukes!

The MWs, HVs & GPs are obsessed with asking about contraception. I had internal stitches for gawd's sake I'm not having sex yet! Defo waiting til my 6 weeks is up just to be safe! But after that I dunno what to do. I had the implant before TTC & was really happy with it. But it's a bit long term. We're gonna start TTC#2 when Rex hits 18 months so with giving myself a few months to get back normal like I did this time it'd only be in a year which seems a lot to go through as had a bad experience getting it out last time (she couldn't grab hold of it! Eek! DH nearly fainted!). Still have a scar too.

But don't wanna go back on pill as that makes me pile on the lard & gives me zero sex drive! And injection takes too long to get out of your system. MW suggested coil but don't like the idea of something being inside me, even though she said now I'd given birth it'd be dead easy to fit! lol Argh, I dunno! Maybe it'll be back to the withdrawal method which worked perfectly for us in-between my implant coming out & TTC 4 months later! lol

Went to our first mum & baby group yesterday for BFing mums. It was so nice to chat to other mums. Was a bit of a mission getting there on time as Rex decided to be wide awake all morning so got nothing done & it started at 1. Typical that today he's pretty much slept all morning!

Gertrude you're the first person to speak positively about carazette that I've seen so far! A few more good reviews and I might try it!
I did work out though, that if I stick to the diet and lose 1lb a week, I'll lose 2st by the end of the year so i might just use condoms then go back on microgynon because it only took 2 cycles to get prego after coming off it last time and the only side effect I had was a higher sex drive!

Matilda is like that, she's actually not that bad at night but during the day she's been really hard to settle, especially as she wouldn't let us put her down ever. Having said that I've been trying really hard since yesterday to get her to nap in her cot in her room on the advice of the breastfeeding support lady as I'm close to having a breakdown! Yesterday she managed a 45 minute nap and at the moment she's been down for an hour and 45 minutes. Can't win though, am terrified that she's not ok and I think I'm going to have to check on her in minute!
