Ava sleeps in a toddler bed or twin bed with rail....She never really liked sleeping in her crib :)

i'm not intending on taking alex out his cot yet either. He hasn't yet attempted to climb out, which amazes me as he climbs everything else! but i think he likes his cot as he'll not settle in our bed. We've bought a swinging crib for the new baby so alex can have his cot until the baby is too big for the crib (i'm guessing xmas time, ish). By then he may well be ready for a big boys bed, and if he;s not then we'll have to get the baby another cot :) xx

i think abby really likes her crib too. we still have the bumper on it too because she loves it on there. plus she moves around so much, i think she'd fall out or smush her head against the wall too much for my liking.

glad to know i'm not the only ones OK with their dh's staying in cribs.

Lol
Poppy is still in cot and will be for a little whole longer. She's almost out grown it as it was a space saver cot. I know she will be in and out of bed so will have to have a week of work to combat it lol

We co-sleep, and after that she will probably go straight into a twin bed or so.

Just wondering, how much do all the toddlers weigh now?

Last I checked Toby was around 21-22lb but it's been a while.
As for sleeping, Toby hated his cot so we tried him in a toddler bed really early. I think he was 13 months. He started sleeping through so much more as soon as we moved him. For some reason the bars on the cot freaked him out. We won't be in a rush to move the twins from their cots though. Just whenever they're ready.

Hope everyone's doing ok ladies. Sorry you're not feeling great Dana. Apart from being tiring, how's school going? I really admire you for going, kudos!

I had my anomaly scan today... Everything's looking good so far! Baby and placenta positions could be better but there's plenty of time for that to change. Main thing is both Bert and Ernie are looking healthy and active :D

thanks, but i'm feeling fine my brain is just sucked dry right after i get home lol. it's going really well, i love it so far!

Isis has never climbed out of her bed and its been open since she was about 14 months old. In fact the other night she was crying in the middle of the night because her Elmo doll fell out of bed and she wouldn't get out to get it. She just cried for me. I think daycare has her trained well since they all nap at the same time and on cots.
We went to the dr today to make sure her cold is only a cold (it is) and she weighed 11.1 kg we think, she was less than cooperative with the nurse. Anyway, that's about 24.4 lbs.

I'm glad the twins look good Katherine!

School always wiped me too Dana! It takes a lot of mental energy!

Aleena is in between 23-24 lbs

She has been going through some growth spurts lately... she used to be on the 2nd percentile and shot up now :)

Cottles cant believe your over half way of your pregnancy already! Gone so quick!!

How are all the preggy ladies bumps coming along btw?!

As for baby beds ollies in his toddler bed with a side rail now. Well no actually he just naps in there
He sleeps in my bed in the night lol. I dont mind though I love waking up next to his gorgeous smiley face.

Oh an hes like 21lbs. He's only in 9-12 month clothes still and even some of them are big on him. Hes tiny next to the other kids at play group lol.

Ahh im off to the dermatologist tomorrow to get an irregular mole checked out. I got an urgent referral after a doc spotted it when i was in hospital. Kinda nervous lol. Then chest scan Wednesday. Sighhh.

Oh an ollie has conjunctivitis again. Drops dont seem to work though. Hes had it a few times.
Anyone else's baby get this often?

Poppy weighs about 24lbs I think. She jumped on the scales the other week when I was weighing myself lol

Ava is between 22-23lbs! :)
Its hard to find clothes for her b/c she is tall and skinny (like her sister was)! Anybody else have that issue?

I usually buy jeans with adjustable waists and dresses for her because they seem to work best! ;)

Hi ladies! I will take a bump pic today and post it tonight (hopefully).
Last time I had rosie weighed she was 26 lbs (about 2-3 months ago but she did get very sick in that time so not sure what she weighs now).
Potty training is going great! I'm so happy my daycare provider is so on it too. I wouldn't be able to do it without her. She will take rosie whenever she can (usually 15-30 minutes).

So DH quit his job. I don't blame him. He got the job but it is 1.5hrs away and for minimum wage. It would have helped and he says he is going to find another one. He is determined this time. He missed his 3rd day and called in (his sleeping meds didn't kick in until 4 hrs before he got up even though he took them with 9 hrs to sleep)and they said fine just be here tomorrow at 6am and he was. When he got there they said he was 1.5 hrs early! So he had a talk and they couldn't switch him to a different department so he quit. Its fine. He just needs something closer to home. No neeed for both of us to put thos miles on both vehicles working different hours.

Josie weighs about 26-28lbs. She's also 36iches, so 3 ft tall. She's really really tall for her age, but she grows in spurts. She probably won't shoot up again for a little while so she'll drop back down from the 90th percentile back to the 75th where she's always been.

She's in the 50th for weight.

I'm saying all this because hearing that the toddlers are between 20-24lbs makes me self conscious that Josie is overweight, but she's not. She's tall and therefore she needs more weight on her.

I feel ya Casey. I was all ummm rosie is heavier lol. But she is about 33 maybe 34 inches tall. She has always been 50th for everything but her head (what can I say.... she is very top heavy lol) but at her 18m appt she had gone up to 70th for height and 60th for weight.

Josie's next well baby appt is tomorrow. So I'll be figuring out what percentile she is for everything and her weight.

I measure her myself every so often, so my 36 inches could be wrong. I also weight her myself, but I haven't weight her in a few weeks or measured her in even longer. Who knows. Tomorrow we will know the "official" numbers. :)

I might have skin cancer.

Been to the dermatologist didnt go well. I have 2 irregular moles and he said 1 looks like its spreading. He said they look malignant but I have to have them cut out (on monday... another urgent referral) and looked at in the lab to be 100% sure. Then we take it from there.
Im terrified. Trying not to worry but im devastated.

What have I done to constantly have bad luck?! If I was a horse id have been shot by now.

Jesus, Gem... I hope they're just erring on the side of caution and everything's ok. Will be thinking of you hunny :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:
