April Mummies 2011

For about a day, because of how much friction I used to loosen it. The mastitis began a day later, in both breasts.

Sorry Gertrude, I knew that xD Im just forgetful at times sorry!
Hope you get a good night sleep tonight and hope her wind is relieved! :)

Happy wedding day Tasha!

Ollie had his 2nd needles yesterday. Now hes pooping green :S is this right?! Its usually pretty yellowy. It really REALLY stinks too.
On good terms though I picked out his Christening Cake today ^_^ All thats left to get is the buffet now!

The pain is almost gone now. I'm on the lookout for mastitis symptoms now. I think I'm in the clear.

Gertrude I wad going to mention a similar position for wind. When she is one her back, press her legs up towards her belly and hold for 5-10 seconds. Release and repeat for as long as you deem necessary. It sounds very similar to the squat!! Also doing a bicycle motion with her legs, one up one down, sometimes helps things moving!

Had a horrendous day today which I NEVER wish to repeat. Cut a ling story short, my son went missing :( dh was meant to be watching him whilst I fed Amelia in a feeding room in our shopping centre. We also had our niece and nephew, so hands were full. Anyway, Jake decided to take off from where dean was. He walked the whole length of the mall..probably a good 100 meters. We couldn't find him for at least 10 minutes. My heart wad pounding and I feltSO sick. He actually. Headed for the exit, god forbid what ge would have done, as there's a crossing on a road :( so dean went searching whilst I failed to find any security to help. I found out later that a family noticed he was alone and followed him along. They would've intervened had he gone through the exit. I couldn't thank them enough.
Needless to say iam FUMING with oh. What an idiot to notice our son was round the corner, tell my NINE year old nephew to get him, even though he should've gone himself. I am so upset with him and his reply? "stop going on about it " WTF?!? I almost lost my son and YOU have the audacity to say that? He has always been laidback and I hope this taught him a lesson.
I am always checking where all kids are on trips out.

So tomorrow we are going to a family concert, and I couldn't give a shit ifi get looks whilst my son is in reins. I am NOT going that again.

Sorry girls, just had to get it off my chest. I pray to god none of you go through this :(

Sorry for typos. On my phone. Let me rectify that oh sent my nephew to get him BEFORE he realized he was missing. My nePhew came back and said he couldn't find him. That's when it all started.

Oh dear Jakes :/ Must have being terrifying! Look on the bright side though, at least you got him back safe and sound. -hug- x

Jakes, I'm so glad you were able to find him! I went through something similar with my little sister. She's 11 years younger than me and I lost her in the mall. I was able to find her too but man was I upset. I had no one to blame but myself.

Jakes, it may be your oh does feel awful but doing that man thing of not wanting to talk about it. thank god you found him!

Well pickle had a much better night with hardly any legs up to chest. I sat her in squat a few times and she was fine. Slept 7 till 4. We tried pushing it back but she just can't stay awake. Still 7 is an improvement on 5.30! She went back to sleep after a fed until 7 too! Yay! I feel refreshed!

Yesterday was the first day ever without her pooing, I didn't like that :( she seemed fine and she pooed at the 4 feed with no problems but still don't like it!

Gertrude, glad LO is getting a little relief. Made me giggle saying she farted like her Dad :haha:

Cheese Lover - Hope everything is OK now, what lovely ladies we have in our little community who we can ask for advice

Jakes - Honey, it happened to us with Charly when she was 3 and Willow was 2. We were at a big weekend fair that goes on around here once a year. Pretty cool and everyone we know goes but overall there are around 150,000 visitors on this site over the course of a weekend. Willow's laces had come undone (again! and nothing changes) and so I asked exBIL to hold Charly's hand whilst I leant down and tied them. Literally a minute went by and when I stood back up Charly is nowhere to be seen. Asked BIL where she was, he shrugged and went "she was here a minute ago". I went mental. "I KNOW she was there a minute ago, I put her hand in yours and asked you to take care of her." It took about 10 minutes to find her and I can't explain how horrific you feel and the sheer panic.

Turns out that she had charmed her way onto the helterskelter without having to pay and she was stood at the top of it watching us all running around looking for her screaming. The bloke running the ride didn't think to connect the two...

I cried my heart out that day and screamed myself hoarse, so I know exactly the feelings you describe Hun. How my BIL is still alive, I do not know. I couldn't even look at him for fear of lunging for his throat. And the bas***d never did apologise, useless sack of crap.

Hope you are OK, lovey, such a horrible thing to go through :hugs:

Jakes that sounds horrible, glad you found him. There are so many wierdo's in this world, i would rather be to over protective. I always think back to when Jamie Bulger went missing, that was just horrific what happened to him, i can understand why you were so scared. :hugs:

Quick question, when your LO is playing on their mat do you get down and play too, as i do but not always and keep thinking i should play with him everytime

I do most of the time but I definitely let her play on her own also.

oh gosh jakes :hugs: so glad you found him ok!

cheeselover, glad things are improving! hope you don't get mastitus!

crazybird its prob 50/50 for me, I think it's important he learns to play on his own as well as with me. So we have time with i'm fully interacting with him, helping him roll, doing tummy time and supporting him to play in a sitting position then other times he'll be on his back and play alone, until he winges then i'll go to him. Just seen some of my friends LO's can't be put down for even 2secs whilst their mothers have a wee! so not into that behaviour developing! (hopefully :haha:)

Eugh my cold has gotten 100x worse overnight, feel like someones bunged my head with a load of fluff :haha:, even gone a bit deaf so didn't hear LO wake this morning! woke up at 9.30 to find him missing from his bed...DH had taken him downstairs to give me a lie in!

same as caro for us too! (are we the same person? :haha: )

I love playing with her but it's important to me she can play on her own so we've always given her HER time as it were. She's happy to play for up to half an hour on her own now but the slightest sound and we're with her (unless she's just laughing at the blue monkey, who is the toy of choice atm :D) We're always in the room (except occasionally, when we are just in the next room etc)

:haha:, it is freaky how many similarities we seem to have! mind I have a boy and you a girl :haha: but they're practically the same age so guess thats why  x

Thats ok then as i'm 50/50 too, sometimes i get down and play with him and othertimes he is quite happy to lie their on his own batting the animals. I just thought maybe it was bad of me to not be playing with him all the time but i dont want him to be really clingy when he is older and i also think its good for him to enjoy playing on his own.

George hasn't been for a poo since Friday and he has been a bit grouchy, he has only just gone to bed as he wont settle which im sure is because he hasn't had a poo. He's usually in bed by 7.

Is he bf or ff?
Pickle didn't poo yesterday and she seemed more settled than today when she's done 3
Babies are weird :dohh:

Anyone want another baby yet?

Never ever again :haha:

Well ladies, more drama here because of OHs crappy mother. It's a good job that Gabe is so good because I am climbing the walls in anger and couldn't deal with a grouchy little guy at the same time. I am absolutely fuming.

Manipulative, lying old cow :growlmad::growlmad::growlmad:

we want another one yes, but that won't be for another 3 ish years.
