why does abby insist upon being crouchy EVERY time she's around my family? i just don't get it . everyone must think i have the worst baby ever and she really is very happy. ack!

Rosie went through a phase of that. VERY frustrating. I want another one! I know right now its out of the question but im definitely WTT lol. IDK for how long but I want another one.
Well my grampa's surprise party was interesting. He wasn't there. He felt ill this morning and went to the hospital and they're keeping him overnight. He's dehydrated and such. UGH! Hopefully I get to see him tomorrow and he gets to see/meet Rosie.

Went to an open concert yesterday at hatfield house- sir Elton John was there amongst other acts. Both kids were amazingly good which I have tbh, wasn't expecting!!

Dana- babies this age can also get over stimulated
By different faces and people. Maybe she is going through a cranky phase. Amelia was like it too, gets even worse when they Are around 6_8 months!!! Jake went through seperAtion anxiety so was bawling his eyes out if he even saw a new Person which wasn't me!

We definitely want a lil brother or sister for Rex but not yet. No way! Couldn't handle 2 in nappies or 2 waking up in the night! We've decided to TTC when Rex is 18 months old. Then even if we get preggo straight away Rex will be well over 2 yrs by the time no. 2 arrives.

Dana- Ava is the same way!! Every time we go around family she wont let anyone hold her but me! And when she starts screaming i take her to console her and they get mad about that too! I cant help it she doesn't want you to hold her!! I think she just feels more comfortable with me or Micah holding her because she isn't around anybody else but us!

Happy 3 months old to Isis and 3 month breastfeeding milestone!

Last night was terrible! Isis spent an hour trying to go to sleep. I finally got her down at 9 and she woke at 12, 2, 4, 4:30, 4:45, 5:15, finally at 5:45 I just moved her to our bed. I'm hoping she doesn't keep this up. She was such a great sleeper! I also tried getting her to sleep without the swaddler because she was so mad when I swaddled her last night. Well that didn't work out well so I swaddled her again. Looks like she's not ready no matter what she thinks.

We have an Extreme Heat Warning for today (heat index of around 110) and I have to be out in the field working pretty much all day. I'm trying to get out there as early as possible to avoid the worst part but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Oh, also we have planned on having a second but it's going to take a long time for me to forget how Isis came into this world and my lengthy recovery. I have a midwife appt tomorrow because I'm still having pain.

How is the clogged duct today, cheese? Any better?

We're under the heat advisory too, here in Canada. It's 9:00am and already 32 celsius, 90 fahrehenheit. It's going up to 97. Sucks without air conditioning.

Babies are done here. We have 3 now and I had my tubes tied last Tuesday, much to my regret already. I know I'm done, but I didn't want it to be so final. My husband said 'do it or divorce', but that's another tory.

On another note, my niece's water broke this morning. Miss Anberlin is going to have a playmate soon!!!

My niece is older than me..that's another story too.

funny how lots of us are thinking about more babies. Me and dh talked about it last week! we're WTT sometime towards end of next year prob, so Alex will be around 2 when he has a brother/sister assuming all goes to plan

Gertrude he's formula fed, he finally did a poo when he woke up this morning at 9.15, i could hear him straining and thought thank god, don't like him going to long wiout haing a poo, he as mae up or it by doing 2 today its changed colour though, dark green instead of yellow ish.

amethyst, hope your mil hasn't done anything to bad. Keep calm.

Miss fox, sorry you grandad couldn't make it to his party, hope he will be better soon. I hate it when my nan gets poorly as we are so close.

Cheese that sounds like a night you don't want to repeat, you must be shattered.

Lily i want another OH has said we should try for another at the end of Aug when we get back from our holiday...Uhh no don't really think that is wise. It took us a while to conceive George so could take just as long but i don't really want to risk it. The earliest i would like to start trying is around Christmas but we're not using contraception just being extra careful I want to enjoy my little man before trying again

Brandi, I think I got rid of the clogged duct. I was really careful on the drive home Sunday to pump until I was completely empty. The pain is all gone too. I really hope that never happens again!

I think Isis really is going through the 3 month growth spurt now. She had already drank 7 oz before I went to feed her at lunch. I hope I can pump enough to keep up with her.

I try so hard to be funny but she just doesn't think I'm funny enough..
Tickling she doesn't find funny either, she puts on a real serious face when I tickle her or blow raspberries on her tummy

no real laughs yet. I've hear squeals of delight. She's also starting to appreciate peekaboo.

No laughs here either! She laughed out loud one time a couple weeks ago but hasn't done it again since then!

Hi everyone, had a fab weekend. wedding went great. Ive been tagged in some pics on facebook if anyone wants to have a look, not had time to upload any yet. Im now Mrs Lawrence, sounds weird lol. We had a great wedding present too, my dad bought us a 7 seater car so we can now get about and i dont have to be stuck in all the time.

We defo arent having anymore kids! Both the babies are laughing too, they are quite a bit older than most of yours though, itll come in time xxx

Oh myyy. I dont even know how any of you can think of having kids again! The thought of it, for me, scares me to the bones haha! I am NEVER EVER EVERRR going through pregnancy again EVERR. I hated it. Absolutely hated it.
Dont get me wrong, Ollie is fantastic. I just dont want to carry a baby again
Plus the next one would have a different dad which tbh I dont like the idea of (no disrespect to anyone in that situation... its just not for me)
Ideally I want my tubes tied but my mum is like NAG NAG NAG. you cant your too young for that BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Soooo condoms it is. Although they werent too reliable last time xD

i made junior laugh for the 1st time the other week he like the raspberries on his tummy it brough a wee tear 2 my eye i was so proud xx
