Anyone else having a rough time with doctors at the moment?
I used to be able to phone my old GP and get an appointment for the following day. But since then I've been transferred.
I now have ONE anti-depressant pill left. So I called my GPs office. They can't fit me in until tuesday so I asked the receptionist to pass my details on so the GP can call me. The receptionist decided that I wasn't a priority though, so I can't get a call back.
Her exact words were "it's not like you have a sore throat..."
No. No I don't have a sore throat. I have depression. When I'm not on the pills, I suffer. My baby suffers. I think constantly about self harm. I curl up and cry and get angry and my son doesn't get proper playtime. So he cries. And I get more frustrated. And shut myself off even more.
But no. I don't have a sore throat so I don't deserve a call back.
