I need thoughts and prayers....My mom was suppose to have back surgery Friday but when they did all the pre-testing/x-rays they found a shadow on her lung. She went to her other doctor this morning and he thinks its a lung tumor and has sent her for a CT scan asap! I'm a little numb right now...trying to stay positive!

I hope it's nothing! Your family is in my thoughts!

Still recovering from the sedation and stuff so feel a bit funny.
I have to go back sometime next week :/

Bernina, have you seen these cloth diapers: https://www.justsimplybaby.com/ Most of my one-size pocket diapers came from her. If you "like" them on facebook then when she has returns she posts it on FB. they're greatly reduced that way. I got one and it was perfect. She has quite a few on clearance. They're $9-12 and come with 2 microfiber inserts.

We have a nosy baby here who also loves people! But she can get overwhelmed by loads of people handling her for a long time. Shell burst into tears! Had her weighed today- she's 14lb 9oz so almost doubled birth weight. Aww growing TOO fast! I've also sat here tonight for 30 mins and she was in her bouncer blowing rasoberries. She seemed so amazed by her new found skill that it didn't stop!
I remember Jake had this phase for aaaaages!

Well some good news...My cousin just had her twin girls! Haegan was 6 lbs 14oz and Hadley was 5lbs 11oz! She delivered both of them naturally!!!

The twins have 6oz every 3 hrs. Harley has one or two feeds in the night but Ruby sleeps through. Im starting them on baby rice next week they will be 5 months on the 12th. They had a little taster before but were ill so i didnt carry it on.

wow abby just sounds so young compared to all your lo's. she loves to be snuggled, love attention but too many ppl in a new environment and she's nothing but tears. doesn't like her bumbo for more then a few min still. ah well, i keep thinking no 2 yr old can't sit up straight so imma enjoy my little girl as long as i can.

My mom has a lung mass. They are going to do a biopsy and another scan to see if it is anywhere else. The doctors are worried it originated some where else b/c she is a non-smoker. Please continue the thoughts and prayers

Emmy, make sure they do a full body scan! My MIL had ovarian and kidney cancer. During her treatment they never did a full body scan. A year later she had 2 brain tumors. They were probably there when she went through treatment for the other 2 cancers but they never checked anywhere else. Sorry you're having to go through this! We've been on a 3 year roller coaster ride with my MIL's health. She's cancer-free for now. Stay positive! There are many many treatments.

They are doing a full body scan on Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed it isn't anywhere else as they said they could remove the mass if it hasn't spread.

Emmys and Congrats on the twins too.
So thinking of which to start with rice or oatmeal cereal...
Got my hair cut. The layers are intense and I think I need to straighten and wash my hair before I decide how much I like it. I've got a 10 HR work day tomorrow. Long one.

Im a bit more with it today haha. Yesterday was really weird.
Apparently I put a spider in my mouth which I dont remember AT ALL. But I am very freaked out by the thought of it D: Ugh.
Also cant even remember posting on here, but apparently I did xD Haha!

Sam - I started with rice for the first 3 days but now I alternate between rice and banana porridge just to let him get used to some different tastes. He likes the porridge much much better It stinks though haha! When are you starting to wean?

Technically I started weaning a couple weeks ago because I've given Rosie some snap peas and green beans to hold and chew on. Oh and an apple wedge here and there. If its hard enough I give her pieces to hold and she chews on them. I will probably start some cereal sometime in the next week. DH has given her some in the last week. She grabbed the bowl and pulled it up to her face and tried to drink it lol. Happy Rosie. I just let her play with it mostly but dh is gung ho on starting.
I love my baby
She slept from right after my post last night until 15 mins ago and my alarm is supposed to go off in 10 mins. Not ready for today at all but I've got to get up and moving and pumping!

This has been one of the hardest days for a long time. It was nice to see a bunch of friends I haven't seen in a while but it was terrible that it was for a funeral. I'm exhausted because everyone came over to our house last night and we didn't go to bed until 130! Isis woke up at 2... She's napping now so I'm going to take a nap too.
