oh gosh... i havent even posted on here since i came to the 3rd tri.
Hope everyone is doing well... hmm actually reading some recent posts seems like we are all feeling a bit tired and down at the moment.

It may be the cold weather... or maybe its just the getting up and going to work thats unbearable.
Thats what is certainly is for me.. i have a lovely office job but the tube/train journey here in London is beyond horrible. I still get pushed and dont even get offered a seat... but its ok....im not going to complain too much.

lol

Nice to see us all steadily joining the last leg of the journey...

Hey ladies, just thought i would pop in to say i hope you are all having a lovely weekend. LO was being quiet today so i got a little worried and made the mistake of waking him up. He spends alot of time in my ribs, actually i lie his up near my ribs 24/7 as he has been head down since my 26 week midwife appointment, i felt him have the hic ups yesterday and he is still very much head down. I know its a long way to go but hoping he stays that way lol. Anyways i am feeling very well otherwise, my back plays up from time to time but thats when i choose to sit in a cross legged postion while on the laptop, i have also found it hard to get big gulps of air and am breathless alot more than i used to be. Anyone else experience this? Touch wood i think i will live, and can't help but count the days for his arrival. To think that on Monday it will be February!! xxx
 
I am asthmatic and have been experiencing breathlessness since about 12 weeks; I got a bump from around 8 weeks. It is gradually getting worse so I just carry my inhalers around. I imagine everything is rather squished inside us now as our LOs continue to grow and I have been told it's normal! Obviously if it is very bad and you are overly concerned I would suggest calling the midwife, perhaps she can give you inhalers if needs be?
 
I'm a lot more breathless too, I did think about asking my Dr is I should be carrying my inhaler again, but I've not needed one in the 7 years since I stoped smoking! :dohh: I really think I only had self-inflicted asthma :blush:

I think it is just that I'm getting far less exercise than I used to, I weight more, and my diaphram can't have the same room to expand :shrug: It isn't nice though!

My hubby keeps asking what is wrong when I give huge sighs, but really I'm just tring to catch a deep breath!

Ladies, how do you get a bump buddy? I still don't have one? I was undecided but think I would quite like one!
 
I am so with you all on the breathlessness thing. I've been sighing, yawning, trying to swallow great gulps of air for AGES now! It makes it so hard to sleep, doesn't it? I also have asthma, but have found that my inhalers do not really help with this. :(

My aching bump has been getting really bad lately too - sometimes (particularly when I'm heading home from work) it cramps up and hurts so much I am close to tears. I'll see my mw next Friday so I'll talk to her about it then.

I bought the most beautiful new shoes the other day, they're quite open and strappy (for me - I usually live in Chuck Taylors) and have flowers on... Only my feet keep swelling and bulging out over the straps and it's really unattractive! Not that I'll let that stop me! They're so pretty. :)
 
hope everyone has been having a lovely weekend!

Am cracking on painting the nursery tomorrow with my parents and uncle. No doubt arguments will arise, but hey ho, hope it all gets done in one day xx

It is neat that I have 4 girls and you have 4 boys.

Your 2nd, 3rd, & 4th sons are the same age as 3 of my girls.
