Hello Ladies,

I started FF'ing my LO today after 7 months of BF'ing

I decided to use Aptamil as I have heard a lot of good things about it, I just have a question regarding its appearance:

It seems quite frothy - is that right?? (OH says its got a head on it like a pint of guinness :haha:) or am I making it up wrong - Im following the directions on the side

Thanks

Yep, ,my Aptamil has always looked frothy after mixing. It has never caused my LO problems though but if your LO finds it makes them windy try using a vented bottle like dr browns or tommee tippe anti colic (there the ones with the tube down the middle) as that stops LO swallowing extra wind.

Well done for bfing for 7 months:happydance:

I bf Naomi for 5 months before switching over to Aptimil. It does look frothy after shaking the powder into the water but will settle if you leave it to stand for a minute.

Good luck xx

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I'm currently looking to switch my LO to formula, how did you ladies get your LO to take a bottle? Sam took one when he was younger but just messes with it now and he hasnt really got the hang of a cup properly yet. Any tips?
