I'm planning on feeding my baby aptamil but I'm unsure if they supply this in the little glass bottles at the hospital, as I've never seen any in the glass bottles at all.. I dunno if I'll have to bring my own..

I'm guessing I'll maybe have to take my own steriliser and bottles too?

Soooo much to take!

most hospitals now ask you to supply the cartons of milk but they supply the bottles

Oh really maybe they do then! It will be so much easier if they do!

Well that's ok, I don't mind just getting the cartons, was a bit worried about lugging the steriliser with me lol

You want be allowed to take in your steraliser hun. You need to contact them and find out what you should bring formula and bottles wise. They may have steralising equipment, pre made bottles or disposable bottles for you to use. Or they will tell you what to bring xx

they should sterilise for you hun just bring the tub of powder and your own bottles if you have a specific brand you want to use xxx

Ask ahead of time if you can as some do the little bottles. The paed ward I used to work in had the glass bottles of aptimal, Cow and Gate and SMA so I assume the mat ward next door also stocked them.

aptamil has become more common in hospitals now. i know my hospital now supplies aptamil :)

but hospitals are also working to stop providing formula now unless its for emergencies so i'd definately take some anyway

I am taking some cartons of aptimil just in case, I don't know what my hospital provide, must put that on my list of questions :)

my hopsital gave us a bottle of sma to take home as was having troubles bfding , but this was 2 years ago now.

i know mothercare used to do a multi pack of sma bottles with sterile disposable teats.
could be worth packing a few for your hospital bag?

^wss, boots do them too.

my hospital only provides the steriliser if you ff, you have to take your own formula and bottles

our hospital dosent supply milk etc....boots sell ready steralised bottles...packs of 6 for 2.49......seem ideal for using in hospital x
