i am planning on ff and using aptmill with tommy tippy bottles i have the new born teats i am thinking of gettin a few tubs of milk and redy made cartons how long will it be b4 i have 2 change the teats and do u recomend stocking up on the milk. i also have 6 big bottles and 2 smaller 1s shud i get any more.

I personally wouldnt stock up on milk, i started my LO on aptamil stage 1 but had to change to easy digest after about a week as the first one didnt agree with her. That sounds like enough bottles, i changed teats at 3 months, and doing so again at 6 months, but thats with dr brown bottles, tommee tippee could be different

I agree dont go mad on milk as you never know if your LO will take to it and need to chande formula.The ready made cartons are handy to have in the early days as spares in case of an emergency feed.Bottles sound fine,teats just depend on your baby hun and how soon they are ready to move.x

I agree,I've never had a problem with Aptamil but I wouldn't stock up unless your LO has a problem with it

We have just started on aptmil comfort with the tommee tippee first stage teats and we found it didnt come out as easy as its a thicker milk so we have had to change to a medium flow teat, my baby is 6 weeks old x

To start 1 tub will probably last you about 2 weeks but after a few months it will only last 1 week.

I stocked up a couple weeks ago as the price just went up quite a bit!

With the leaks - it doesnt mean you will or will not have a good supply - but you should definitely give it a shot - even if just to start off!
