Has anyone attended any of these classes?, and how did you find them. Are they worth going to?

thanks

I haven't been (I don't like being in water much!) but friends who have been have said they're really good and helped them keep active in preparation for the birth.

I've been to our local class through both my pregnancies and found it enormously helpful in getting some exercise and feeling generally more well in myself. A nice break from work too. :winkwink:

Hi, i went for the first time last week & loved it. Was nice to meet other pregnant women and was so relaxed afertwards, also had the best nights sleep for months. Am going again tonight and cant wait. Found by looking on line at my local swimming baths. £4.20 per class. x

I go when I can. They're once a week and I really enjoyed it. The main thing you'll notice is how light you suddenly feel, it's lovely having bump supported and taking the weight off your back for a while. I was a bit nervous on my first one and made sure I was at the back, but it was really easy to following and made me feel really relaxed afterwards :)

I went twice a week for most of my pregnancy. Occassionally it was tough to get motivated to go, but it was so fun to meet other pregnant people and to get a little exercise. I've always been a water person and I thought I'd swim more, but I don't think I swam on my own even once. So having a scheduled class really helped me.

The other ladies are really what made the class so great. It was so helpful to me to get the advice from those that had been through it before and to share what I was feeling that others in my life might not understand. I'll keep in touch will several of the people I met. We're looking forward to doing water baby classes soon. :)

I go to normal aqua aerobics once a week at the moment but starting to struggle with it now. I was planning on switching to the aqua natal class as soon as I can. But it's at the stupid time of 2pm on a Friday afternoon and I'm still working for 3 more Fridays, and then it's Good Friday and then the royal wedding, so I'm guessing they won't run on bank holidays. Disappointed as I won't get to go until I'm 37 weeks!

I've been going to these classes and they really help me to feel better about myself. Can meet other mums to be for a chat and really helps for fitness for labour. I've been enjoying them.
