are estates/bigger cars harder to drive?

The worse thing about bigger cars is that you miss out on so many parking spaces as the car is too big. Other than that i wouldn't say i find it easier or harder to drive any type of car. I learnt to drive in an Escort but then when i passed my test the only vehicle available to me was my mum's VW camper van. I drove that and loved it for a good few years. I am currently driving a Mazda 6 and find it so easy to drive. I also drive my parents VW Golf a lot and i think the blind spots on that are worse than on my car.

I think estate is easier than hatchback where parking is involved, & love the boot space for shopping and holidays. Obviously parking a smaller car will always be easier but for driving I like our Vauxhall astra estate.
