Hi ladies,

I am TTC and when successful this will be my 3rd pregnancy. With my previous 2 pregnancies I have fallen pregnant quite quickly within 2 months.

My OH said to me this morning "I don't think you will get pregnant as quickly this time around because my swimmers might not be what they used to be 3 years ago"

Is this true?

I thought a 60 year old man could still get a woman pregnant just as quickly as a 20 year old?

hhhmmm your thoughts please xxx

I am not a specialist at all but I think that as long as your DH didn't start to smoke or drink excessively and isn't more stressed than he was during your last TTC periods, there shouldn't be an issue. I have read however that after 35 sperm quality deteriorates: https://www.newscientist.com/articl...quality-decreases-at-age-35.html#.UjB90z9ChT0. A bit of extra vitamins can't hurt :)

ahh well he isn't quite 35 yet! So there's still hope haha. I'll let him know the good news xx

I conceived quite quickly with my first 2 but the 3rd took a little longer but only by a couple of months. My DH is 35 this year. I think it is only a matter of time and patience
