When you start ttc , will you tell anyone ? Or will you just leave it as a suprise ? And when you find out is there anyone you will tell before the 3 month scan ?

plan is to wait till 12 week mark but I may tell my mum and Sis n OH patents when we find out so they don't keep pestering why Im not drinking and avoiding prawns lol I love prawns

I told my mum that we wanted to TTC soon (but didn't give her any time frames) and she reacted extremely badly too it. So I haven't dared tell anyone since then! I've almost told my best friend a couple of times, particularly yesterday when we got onto baby talk. But she doesn't want children herself, so I don't know if she'd understand?

If I was lucky enough to fall pregnant straight away (so in september/october) I would keep it a secret until I was 12/16 weeks gone. As I want to announce it at Christmas. But I think that I'd probably tell my best friend straight away, I don't think I could keep it quiet from her that long!!

We aren't telling anyone about TTC, too much pressure! We'll tell our family after it is confirmed by a doctor and 12+ weeks for others!

We wont be telling anyone as such, but my close friends know that we are planning to start not long after we get married. We will probably tell parents straight away and my best friend. The rest can wait until we reach the 12 week mark.x

I don't think I'd tell anyone whilst TTC, I don't think anyone in my family has. I wouldn't want to announce the pregnancy until after the 12 week scan, but I don't know if I'd be able to keep it from certain people like my best friend and my mum!

My mom, best friend, a co-worker/close friend, and another close friend all know we're going to start ttc "at the end of the year." This has just come up in conversation because my mom asked, my best friend hears everything, and both are close friends told me they're ttc soon so I told them, too!

We will be telling family/close friends (as in the three who know when we'll be ttc!) right away- or after our first scan, if it is early. Everyone else will likely just find out 12-14 weeks, after that ultrasound. Nothing is set in stone of course. I may scream it from the car driving down main street.

People know we plan to stat TTC. They know we have a date set but no one knows when it is. It's funny to hear peoples guesses as to when they think we will try and their logic behind their guess hehe... Once we are preggo though, the WHOLE world will know lol! We will tell everyone right away, and if something happens, it happens. No reason to keep such great news to ourselves

Close family will tell when we find out (if anything happened id need their support) and others after 12 week scan.

It's really funny, he always goes to say things like "well if you get pregnant by christmas, then.. " and I have to poke him. Or he says something about it to his brother or friends. Haha how cute your DH must be super excited! I reckon my DH will be the same though so I'll be having stern words to not say anything. He couldn't keep our engagement secret, as I was going to have a special dinner party and reveal the news to all, but DH couldn't hold it in!

The only ones that even know im going to start ttc is my wife that's it and of course doctors and you guys that's IT my family is not supportive and my friends don't want kids I don't want anyone to know until I'm at least 15 weeks

No one really knows we're even thinking of TTCing-- so it will be somewhat of a suprise when we do tell people! The only people I will tell before the 3 month scan would be, my mom,dad and his mom and dad... But I would be to nervouse to tell anyone else... And of course my work-- I work as an X-ray tech so I'd have to.

I'd tell my parents and sister, and my boyfriend/future husband's parents and sister as well. Everyone else can wait until the 12 week mark. I might tell my best friend...probably will. haha

We probably won't make any fancy announcement or anything like that But I can't see us telling people, apart from close friends maybe when we're testing or if it's taking awhile... until we get our BFP!

Well i let the cat out of the bag and told everyone that we would be trying straight after our wedding next year so i think people will be expecting the news pretty soon after we get married. i wish i had kept my mouth shut so that it would have been a total surprise but i cant hold it down.

i would tell my mum and best friends straight away, i would leave everyone else until around 16 weeks if i wasnt showing

I will tell a couple of very close friends when we TTC. Family won't know because I know they'll have something interesting to say about it! Again, close friends will now when we get pregnant but family won't know until 12 weeks.
