I have told my sisters and brother that we will be ttc soon. Im keeping it a secret from my parents though. I wont tell anyone im pregnant until after the 12 week scan, going to surprise my parents with it. I might tell my big sister before the scan though x

I won't be telling anyone when we plan to TTC although we get asked 'so when are the babies coming along?' all the time. Before I had a mmc, I had told everyone right away that I was pregnant so I dont think I can go through that again. My plan is to tell everyone after the 12 week scan

We are only telling a few friends, basically not my mother as she has a habit of making things about her, so i wont tell her until i start showing.... just an onslaught of drama otherwise!

Hah me and oh got way ahead of ourselves and pretty much told everyone we were ttc in january i was just too excited lol after soo long of wtt. now hoping there won't be too much pressure on us!

No we won't tell anyone we are ntnp, when we are pregnant we will tell most people at 12 weeks but I'm sure I will tell my mum and best friend before then!

I might tell a close friend or two that we are ttc. The only people that I would tell before 12 weeks are people that I would look for support from if something went wrong like my mum.

We definitely won't be saying anything when we TTC - I might tell 2 of my friends as one has just currently gone through TTC and just scored a BFP this week (sticky dust!) but no one else.

DH doesn't want to tell anyone until 12wks - if we do tell, it will just be my parents and his parents, but it's more than likely that we'll wait.

Well, we certainly aren't telling family we're TTC! Considering when we want to do it, my parents will think we're way too and just be negative about it (as they have about our engagement to an extent ) and my sister would probably be bitchy coz she's jealous (she's older and still not engaged and lives at home ). Anyway, I'd probably tell 1 or 2 good friends so I can have someone to vent to. And they won't put pressure on me! I'd like it to just be between me and DF and we will be taking more of an NTNP approach anyway, so it's not such a huge deal.

I will probably tell a few good friends straight away when I find out I'm pregnant as I'll need to share the excitement and I have a close friend who has been through it all last year so she can relate. Then tell family first around 12-13 weeks, then everyone else probably a week later.

I think the only person I'm going to tell when we start TTC is my grandma. She already knows my OH and I plan on having kids together someday, so it won't really shock her. Although I don't really think it will shock anyone when I do start trying (if they find out) because I've made it pretty clear to everyone that I'm not done having kids yet.

As for once I'm pregnant, close friends and family will know right away because I know I'll want to share my joy and if anything does happen, I'll need their support. Everyone else will find out sometime after 12 weeks...most people didn't know I was pregnant with my third until I was 20+ weeks, so I suspect it'll be the same next time.
