I know it's not a baby story, but it's a MIL story! It's my OH's birthday next week, been planning a surprise party for months now so that every knew, MIL told him about it yesterday :/ horrible woman!

Anyone else feel this way about their own mum too?

She's driving me mad!! No mum I will not only breastfeed for a month so I can 'get my life back' My son is my life!

Yes I will be baby led...Babies shockingly enough are not meant to STTN at 3 months old, its western tradition that is wrong!

I will decide if co-sleeping is easier. No it will not ruin my life in yrs to come. Yes I will teach him about his own bed, but for the first few weeks...if I want to I will.

Also...I've been calling myself a hippy for ages now....why do you throw it at me like its a nasty word when I say I want a water birth. They are perfectly normal & safe y'know.

Stop going on about how hard you going to have to try not to take over when he's here & think about the kind of advice your giving me.

MIL...stop buying crap!!! I have 500,750 blankets for baby....I do not need you to buy more! But him something I want you to buy him...A walker for xmas would be fab, instead of the crap clothes your going to send. In fact...don't buy anything. If you feel you have to save the money & give it too me.

Oh my MIL and 3 SIL's were staying at my house baby sitting and the next night I had such a struggle getting him to go to bed and I had to cuddle him to sleep because they must have!!! And she always cuddles him and she's like ohh he's tired and cuddles him as u to put him to sleep but he's not even tired!!!
And she used to say that everytime he cried was cause he had wind, which sometimes it was true but mostly wasnt.
And she keeps telling me I need to buy a portable cot for HER so she can have him at hers. Which I feel like that really if she wants to have him then she should buy it... And we don't really have the money to buy one!!

Yes!!! It's so annoying trying to get them To sleep on their own!!
