Arrrrgh. Getting so fed up of this now!

You are being a FAB mum and not letting LO go to this house where illegal and dangerous things are happening. I can't even believe FOB wants his son in this environment!! Was FOB brought up in this environment? Maybe he doesn't see the harm in it cos its what he is used to iykwim? Maybe you need to explain it is not a good environment for your child? (hope that doesn't sound patronising?) xx

Yes he was brought up aorund it hun. He accepted the fact that is isn't a suitable envorment for Aidan but he thinks he will be safe because he is there :dohh:
xx

:nope:

You're completely right not allowing this, I was about to say I can't believe he would think it's ok but honestly the fob experience I've had tells me that they'll come out with all kinds of shit.

Don't let him stress or scare you into agreeing to his ridiculous demands. Would it be do-able for him to see Aidan at your place? Or another person's house, who is amenable to it and reasonable and not doing inappropriate things in front of him.

If not, mediation MAY be helpful - it wasn't with my fob as he spat the dummy after 5 minutes of it, BUT that was because his ludicrous demands were obvious as that in that setting - properly ludicrous. If you're in mediation and he's trying to justify and insist on taking your son into a junky house that will not go unnoticed, he'll show himself up to be the idiot that he is being. Mediation services are able to connect you with contact centres if needs be, and will do that if that's the way forward.

As to how to go about a contact centre, yes you could ask a solicitor but the CItizens advice bureau wouldbe my first port of call as they can help with this kind of thing and have always been really helpful when I have needed them.

Do feel free to PM if u need to hon, I'm not saying I know how it is for u but I have been through a mess of crap regarding fob and solicitors and all that jazz and wish I'd had someone who understood back when it was all too much

xx
