What are your opinions on this seat?
Have you had one?
I'm reading a lot of mixed reviews....

May I suggest doing a search for it on this forum it got a bit contentious last time :flower:

i just brought it this morning. it is very popular and has been in the baby event every year for at least 4 years as my nephew has the same one. so i am happy iwth my purchase xx

ooooh is the baby event back on???!!!
sorry no advice on the carseat.... but the way i see it is it wouldnt be allowed to be on sale if it didnt pass uk regulations and safety tests, so IMO it's probably ok. Xx

We have it as a spare seat for our 21 month old. Weiss a maxi cosi axiss in our main car but have this one in our second car so we don't have to switch the seat over whenever we use the other car.

I've had it for nearly a year and have had no issues at all with it, it fits really securely into the car and feels really sturdy. My dd always seems very comfortae in it and had plenty of growing room left. We'll happily get another one for our second daughter for the second car when the time comes.

It says it can be used from birth but I'm not sure I'd be happy using it for a baby younger than a year old though, it doesn't look reclined enough or comfy enough for that.

X

how much is it in thinking of getting a spare one for my mums car or if someone pops round and our car seat is in OHs car xx

I have this for Paige. I don't drive but it goes in either my mums or sisters car if we are going out. I see no issues with it! We only use it like once a week , if that, though. I wish I could drive!

It's £25

I don't drive either, but it would go between 3 cars :haha:

Think I paid £25 for mine in the baby event last year.

For a spare or one that isn't used every day then I'd say it's a great car seat and a brilliant buy!

That's really cheap it would only get used maybe once a month or something my mum does have one but its very old so I just don't feel comfortable putting her in it , so for £25 its not bad I know its not going to be the best out there but in not spending £100+ for something that's hardly going to get used x

My sister brought it for my niece to use in my car when she outgrew her rear facing carseat. Don't have a problem with it and will probably buy another for when Brandon will be old enough. Surely if it has passes the british standards test its fine?.

I don't really see the point in paying more when it's perfectly ok just so you have a "name brand" maybe that's just me though

this would be perfect then cos its lightweight. Not like a britax or maxi cosi that are so heavy to move between cars! Xx

I thought it looked good too. For now we're just using our niece's old seat :haha:

It would also be great for taking on holidays on a plane etc instead of lugging a huge heavy one around! I might get one just for that purpose! (my dad is buying both our car seats so he'll prob buy an expensive one!) this would be great as a spare tho! Xx

I got a car seat from ebay (new) for £39 its 9m to 4y. Reclines and has a bell on the buckle so you know if its been undone. It fits really sercurly into cars I dont drive so didnt want to spend loads but this is a great buy and very goid for the price

I search car seat in ebay the listing said nania car seat but the seat itself has babystart on it  Ill find a link if you want

We have it for LO and I bought it in the last baby event. Wouldn't recommend. The straps are absolutely rubbish! They twist and it's such a pain to get her in. Might be better when she's older even though they have different positions for the straps.
