Can anyone help me with how/where to find support? I'm based in Morayshire, Scotland and my daughter is on a 6 month waiting list for a support centre. As a single parent I am struggling. Thank you :flower:

A good idea would be to ring the National Autistic Society, they should be able to direct you to support groups in your area. They have a good website. :)

Depending on the age of the child can you ask her health visitor or SENco if she's at school. DS SENco is forever chucking leaflets my way of all these support groups. Or if you just want to chat, chat to some of us. A few of us have Aspergers ourselves and overs have children on the spectrum, so we can give you tips which may work, or just to listen.

Pm'd you hun x
