At the midwife this afternoon!

How'd it go?

It went great!!!! The midwife was fab and so was the student midwife made me feel so much at ease and we had a good chat about how I was feeling about my 'age'!!! Turns out the student midwife's mum was 37 when she was born and the midwife's mum was 40!!!! I felt so much better I can't believe I'm stressing myself out over this!!!!! Just to wait on my scan appt now xx

Great to hear! I am not worried at all with my age (38). If I were, I wouldn't have tried to get pregnant. How long until your scan?

I don't know why I'm worrying either!!!! Feel such a twit!! Blame the hormones!!! Probably another 2/3 weeks x

thats great news how many weeks are you now?? Im wondering when I should chase up my midwife with the dr saying they would tell them sooner rather than later with my diabetes, glad they put you at ease and made it a nice experience

I'm 9 weeks and 5 days!I guess I've forgotten what it would be like seeing as the last one was 12 years ago!!They were so nice and age is not an issue think I worry too much!ha ha Yeah think you should get in touch with them,that way will put your mind at ease xx

Glad it went well knew it would my midwife thought i was off my head when I said I was old and told me I was just a youngster...she was my favourite person on earth right then! xxx

My doctor said that to me too when I informed him I was pregnant!Made my day!x

I will give them to end of next week as its still early days and if not just ring and check my dr did the referal as she was a locum, and last time my son needed a referal i waited 2 months chased it up and the letter had never even been sent so wont let that happen again, my drs are totally crap!!!
