I think i may have been doing this wrong.... I wash all the 5 bottles and teats then pop them in the steriliser and add the water and they go in the microwave for 6 mins.
When i need to make a feed i open the steriliser get out a bottle and teat then pop the lid back on the steriliser until i make up the next feed and do the same until all bottles are used.
Once i have opened the steriliser does this mean all the bottles and teats are no longer sterilised? Do i need to re-wash everything each time and put into microwave for another 6 mins? Or if i need to put on for another 6 mins can i just add frest water or do i need to re-wash everything? I thought once opened everything was sterilised for 12hrs no mater how ofter the lids on and off.

Technically once you open the lid they aren't sterile. Doesn't mean they are dirty, but they aren't sterile. I keep things in there myself sometimes, but not for long. If you like you can just re run the sterilizer, but rewashing is unnecessary IMO. I personally change my water once a day and I run my sterilizer about 5 times a day (I have one thing I use 4x and sterilize after each time, then once for all bottles etc). If I take the bottles out and seal them up (with nothing in) I consider the insides sterile enough for later use (if the teats are capped at the same time).

Once you open the sterilser, the inside of the steriliser stops being sterile. The longer you leave them in the open air the 'dirtier' they will become. When you take the first bottle out, if you put the bottles together with the teats and lids on, the inside of the bottle will stay in the same sterile state for about 24 hours though. That's what I'd do.
